Generals normally get 5 star treatment in the army. This boy has potential to be one. A true leader. Even his father obey his orders.
It is not as if the senior was carrying SBO or fieldpack. I choose to believe that the soldier was unwell or Attend-B. You also have civil-servants and ministers going KTVs. wanna shame them too?
If the person in the photo is a NSF, his pay is only one-tenth or one-fifth that of a regular soldier. I am very sure that his rest time / slack time / nap time is less than a typical SAF regular. Therefore, for those who wanna shame the soldier, I hope they signed-on
Many NSF and NSmen are more diligent and did more dangerous stuff than most regulars (except a few committed souls and those in SOF). The problem with our military is the reward system. As we have conscription; useless regulars get promoted to very senior ranks when they are there long-enough. They will just retire as corporals in many countries without conscription. Many regulars tell their wives they got training, and go find women after work. Who is more laughable?
