It was at a prestigious golf tournament.
A security officer was allegedly pushed onto the road by a Mercedes-Benz driver who had refused to stop for checks at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club on March 22.
This happened during the Porsche Singapore Classic where Stomper Tom the security officer was working at the drop-off and pick-up point.
He recounted: "I stopped this black Mercedes to do a check, but he accelerated and drove further up to pick up his child.
"Cars are not allowed to pick up passengers at the main entrance, only at the white tent.

"I went to explain this to him, but he accused me of touching his child, which was not true. He was very rude to me and told me not to talk to him.
"After he settled his child inside the car, I stood at the car door as I wanted to explain, but he refused to listen and wanted to close the car door.

"So he pushed me on the left shoulder and I fell onto the road, injuring my palms. His wife quickly came and apologised to me.
"I had already called for back-up and my team arrived to defend me. After my superior arrived and took pictures of his vehicle, he drove off."
The Stomper was advised to go to hospital for a check up.
"But I told my superior I was fine. I only got cuts on my right palm and fingers," said the Stomper, who has since made a police report about the alleged assault.

He described the Mercedes driver as a Chinese man aged 30 to 40.
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
The 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic was won by English golfer Richard Mansell.
