Some people will say Lim Chiew Peng was a better goalkeeper...Anyone able to recall name of LBS’s deputy? Graham Ng? Very Low profile and played just a couple of times.

I met Samad once after he retired from football. We chatted and reminisced the good old days. He was then dressed in orange jumpsuit working as a technician. If I recall correctly he was then with a pest control company. Very nice and humble man. Likeable personality.!Any news on Samad? Met him many years ago. Told me he was ‘following’ his boss. Jln Sultan area I think.
I met up with Lim Chiew Peng a couple of times socially. He was then working for Teo Hock Seng in Komoco. I knew him because I am a good friend of his younger brother also a humble guy. RIP bro!Rajagopal had open heart surgery a couple of years back. So, I guess he is not doing much these days. Lim Chiew Peng passed away 4 years ago.
Some cheating or CBT offence.Rocky Lim Tien Jit once a steady national team defender, the one-time personal manager and biz adviser to Fandi Ahmad and his company called Fandi Ahmad International. I recalled he was incarcerated for some offence. But as a player he was reliable and brave.

Yes. Very humble and easy-going Abang. Somehow I recall him working as a debt collector maybe 5-6 years ago. Son’s death must have shattered him. Used to complain to me about his son’s behaviour on the field. Too hot headed.I met Samad once after he retired from football. We chatted and reminisced the good old days. Vertically challenged! Hahaha. Good one.Unlike LCP who was lanky, his younger bro is short: vertically challenged in fact.

Robert Sim was a really passionate player who wore his heart on his sleeves. I can still remember vividly how he wept inconsolably on the shoulder of then national coach Michael Walker when we lost to Vietnam in the semi finals on a penalty shoot-out. He missed his spot kick. Another nice guy.Spot on. Yes, with Shell for a long time.

No idea bro.David Lee sports
is it Rangoon Road ?
David’s bro used to work for Ong Kheng hock at Mr Bean on Prinsep St. Dollah used to walk over Lim Kopi when his office was just opposite. Kim Lye and Poh Leong too. I think latter’s wife used to run a pub nearby.Coincidentally I knew David Lee's brother also (just like LCP's bro) who was then working in Changi Airport Terminal 2 cafe/ restaurant as an ops manager. Heard after his professional stint in Indonesia he dabbled in biz but struggled. Life is full of harsh realities.
