Most of my time in this forum is spent behind the scenes struggling with MySQL queries that seem to run forever and strange database error codes which normal repair routines can't seem to fix.

BTW have you noticed no more "database error" messages during peak hours.

Thanks on the DBase errors, yes much easier. Perhaps we should just target the one or two that are destroying the folders. No issue with the others and we should appreciate the variety and agree on the very light touch.

Bob sim used to start thread after thread and the political folder became a ghost town. Tonychat made no contribution but was certainly spamming the same message. I think we are in a chicken and egg situation here. We are not talking about a whole bunch of people. Just 2 or 3. Notice the peace andvquiet after ivebert left.

I'd just like to add that I've never viewed tonychat, char_azn, bob sim etc to be "problems". It's those that RESPOND to their posts that are a problem. Nothing infuriates a troll more than ZERO response.

He is obviously a pappy balls licker. Why would he go after people that have left the country and reporting about their success in the new country. Why would he go through all effort in spamming the emigration folder other then to spread FUD about migration? Din, woody once mentioned something about "quitters" ? The PAP in all fairness has given up all hope in retaining Singaporean from migration. This is where they are relying on FTs. They, have at least moved on.

It's not just the troll feeders but those who interact with the troll feeders. You came later but the emigration folders was much more active. Then the troll came with multiple nicks. Most people ignored the chap. Neddy could not help himself. By the time you turned up, it was dying. I made one attempt to clean it up as a moderator. I asked Neddy and Axe to stop feeding the troll. Neddy did but axe felt that he had the skills to handle the troll. Poor idiot did not know that any response to a troll is what they are looking for. In the end, there were only 3 left, Neddy, Axe and you. Perhaps not interacting with the troll feeders would have helped. Not feeding the trolls is something most of us understand. Not interacting with troll feeders is something that seems twice removed and therefore hard to comprehend. Believe me it does help.

Exactly, I've been saying in emigration folder many times to stop feeding the trolls there. Alas, the emigration folder is not as active as it should be. I think the dmage done by the troll there is beyond repairable. As for Sifu, why does he like to "stalk" people in the emigration folder?
