Taken aback that he was accused of Chinese chauvinism by the minority personility in his own Facebook, 八阿哥 decided to speak lesser Chinese in public and post less Chinese in his Facebook.
八阿哥 had tried to speak the local dialect Hokkien, his mother tongue from Formosa, so that he can bond with the Ah-Beng Heartlanders. But he had lost touch after being away in the West for too long. He spoke some “Hokkien” in the GE Rallies, but very few words could come out and even fewer could understand him.
Thus, 八阿哥 had no choice but to return to speak English with his foreign but exotic ABC accent which continued to make him alien from most Party members and the general public.
Having mingled with the filthy rich and the ultra high-class elites in his past job, 八阿哥 had also developed a chic sense of dressing. The public had been very impressed, intrigued and fascinated with this voguish fashionista. There was even websites dediciated to 八阿哥’s impeccable swank dressing.
Especially when attending the Parliament, almost without fail and being the only odd man out, 八阿哥 always wore a neatly folded pocket square in his jacket compared to his Party colleagues.
An Idiot Guide for Ah-Bengs on how to fold a Pocket Square so that they can look more Angmoh…

In fact, 八阿哥 seemed to be the only MP in the whole of Parliament in its entire history to carry this very elitist colonial Angmoh dressing tradition into the Chamber…..
