Perhaps, the minority community had never forgiven and forgotten 皇阿玛’s unscrupulous treachery against his old mentor, JBJ Magnus (The Great).

By ruthlessly squashing “The Spirit of Anson”, that last shining icon of the minority community to ever rise up against all odds and become the all-inspiring leader of a major political party, 皇阿玛 had forever shattered the Spirits, dreams and hopes of every single minority in this Land.

Where is Kolam Ayer Division?

It is in Kallang Bahru, Geylang Bahru, St George’s Rd, Bedemeer Rd, Sims Dr….Does one find many Malays or other minorities ? No. In fact many HDB flats there have reached Chinese quota limit.

Where is Kallang or rather Jalan Besar Division?

It is in King George Av, Kitchener Rd, French Rd, Boon Keng & Upp Boon Keng Rd…..Does one find many Malays or other minorities ? No. In fact many HDB flats there have reached Chinese quota limit.

Where is Kg Glam Division?

It is in North Bridge Rd, Beach Rd, Crawford Lane, Jln Sultan, Rochor, Bras Basah, Middle Rd, Hong Lim Complex, Cross St…..Does one find many Malays or other minorities ? No. In fact, most of the HDB flats there have reached Chinese quota limit.

For Chinese to hit the HDB ethnic quota limit, they must have made up over 85% of that flat.

Indeed, NONE of the HDB flats in Kolam Ayer, Kallang and Kg Glam as well as Moulmein has ever reached the Malay quota. Malays are severely under-represented in Moulmein-Kallang.

Rather, there are more non-Malay minorities in Moulmein as most HDB flats there have reached the Indian quota limit. But not that many also, as non-Malay minorities just need to hit 10% of the HDB flat to trigger the HDB ethnic quota. Perhaps, the minorities in Moulmein ganged up and voted heavily against the Party of the Hammer minus the Sickle to cause their defeat.

Frankly, what had JBJ done that you idolise him so much and place him on so high an altar? By winning Anson BE 1981 to break PAP parliamentary monopoly through the 1970s? That'd be easily achieveable by CST too in such a single ward BE scenario, respecting that JBJ predecessor DM had held the seat before. CST proved that in 1984 when he won PP with an Indian community much more numerous than Indians in Anson. Anyway, what had JBJ said or done during his time in Parliament? Nothing except motherhood statements, personal attacks and rhetorics. Any substance in policy discussion, debate and discourse? None.

CST did much better as an MP for the people than JBJ whom seemed wanting to be an MP for himself against LKY only. CST pursued the MND and HDB matters to reveal the overcharging and undertable coffee money all the way to the suicide of TCH. LTK didn't coup JBJ. JBJ was still stuck in his personal politics against LKY and PAP and got most of WP CEC members to the brink of bankruptcy and footing damages instalment bills for years, some even more than a decade.

All CEC members then could have just left and leave WP to collapse and die a natural death. But no, they decided to save WP and voted JBJ out as Sec-Gen. LTK as MP and Asst. Sec-Gen., naturally received the most votes to be the next Sec-Gen. to resuscitate WP. LTK could have just form his own party to retain his Hougang seat too, just like CST in PP when CSJ ousted him from SDP. It's not hard to form your own small party when you have an MP seat and political base.

But no, LTK chose to stay in WP for the common purpose of sending more MPs into Parliament. I think electorate results have vindicated him. He has done well.

“Why did JBJ Magnus choose to abdicate from the leadership of ‘大蓝朝’ (The Great Blue Party or simply ‘Tua Lan Chiow’)?” asked political pundits, bookies and general public even to this very day.

In the last century, JBJ Magnus was also charged, sacked from Parliament and was banned for standing in elections before. Nevertheless, he continued to lead the Party fearlessly into every GE, without his active participation. Then, he had performed his task flawlessly, giving much head-ache to MIWs, although he was not leading the charge personally. Even ‘反骨Chee’, who was also sued and disqualified, continued to lead his Party very strongly and effectively.

“Surely, JBJ Magnus should be able to lead his Party, masterminding and strategizing behind the scene, even if he were to be made bankrupt and disqualified, again,” concluded most people on the street.

That was before 皇阿玛's rise to power and his insatiable thirst for greater grandeur.

When JBJ Magnus was first disqualified, 皇阿玛 was still a spring chicken. He was then a virgin with zero experience in contesting any election. And he was neither strong, experience nor capable to lead the Party. He still needed JBJ Magnus’ aura, halo and network to front, guide and lead the Party.

The Force was not with him, yet.

Ten years of jealously guarding and ruthlessly transforming 后港 into his personal fief, 皇阿玛 had devoured and depleted his constituents’ precious resources to selfishly nourish him. After draining the poor people of 后港 ravenously, 皇阿玛 had not only mastered the Force but the Dark Side of the Force as well. He was also getting very impatient to be the Chosen One.

Meanwhile, JBJ Magnus was getting old, less agile and had no more new tricks to impart. He had become the main obstacle for 皇阿玛’s further glory.

But, even if driven to the very corner by MIWs, the irrepressible Spirit of Anson had shown no intention of giving up the Party leadership. In fact, it had made him even more resolute than ever to fight for his political aspiration and noble dream for his people. He was all but determined to lead his Party to another greater height, and to serve the people and nation.

However, 皇阿玛 and his avaricious cronies had none of this. They had decided to put an end to that old man’s folly. The lure for greater power and personal glory was simply irresistible.

To balance the Dark Forces in this Land, MIWs and 皇阿玛 had secretly and tacitly agreed to create the ‘Rule of Two’ Doctrine between them.

‘The Rule of Two’ Doctrine (commonly known as ‘First World Parliament’) stated that ‘Always Two There Are, No More No Less ... a Master and an Apprentice: one to embody power and the other to crave it.’….. All other Opposition Forces, especially JBJ Magnus, had to be totally destroyed. In this way, the gullible people could be hopelessly intoxicated with false hopes and only two similar 'choices' so that they can be easily ruled and manipulated.

皇阿玛 had mobilised the Party’s resources and some negotiations with MIWs to save the ‘Tua Lan Chiow’ from bankruptcy, but most importantly, to save his very own precious MP seat. But he gave as little help as possible to JBJ Magnus, hoping that he would be utterly and easily burned out by the MIWs quicker.

Despite facing a formidable two-pronged attack by the ‘Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact’ of MIWs and 皇阿玛, JBJ Magnus continued to march on defiantly. Even if he were to be expelled from the Parliament and be made bankrupt, just as he had suffered in the past, JBJ Magnus had no plan to surrender the Party Leadership and abandon his people. His political dream for the Party and utopian ideals for the people was too intense and too passionate to be so easily extinguished by the Dark Forces.

But the MIWs cut the Minorities’ support for the Party when they accused the Hammer candidate for being Chinese chauvinist. Ultimately, the Party suffered a marginal defeat at Bukit Sunyi, for whatever reasons and causes.

When it appeared that JBJ Magnus would not abdicate even if driven to bankruptcy and disqualification, 皇阿玛 decided to use this chiku against JBJ Magnus.

The spin doctors in the Party ‘analysed’ the defeat at Bukit Sunyi without any exit polls data. They miraculously concluded that the Party lost because the working-class Chinese voters, who were the silent majority, had abandoned the Party to support MIWs. It was claimed that the Chinese were ‘frightened’ by the sight of an extremist anti-Chinese chauvinist image of JBJ Magnus as propagated by the MIWs.

The memo of the spin doctors was that: JBJ Magnus had become an unbearable liability and a ‘bogey man’ for the Chinese community. He had to be removed if the Party were to win elections.
