If the current government is not doing what it's supposed to do, i.e. making the lives of ordinary citizens better as their top priority, then vote another party who may do better.
If this party doesn't do better, then vote another party in again (may or may not be the former government).
Keep doing this until one party decides to start working for the people, then they can continue as the government.
