Chitchat The Official TCSS Thread

How? Isn't it kinda the same game still? 22 men. 1 ball. 2 goals.

Just strange right? How some clubs tend to win one competition more.

This one is rather strange because the dominance in Europa is not reflective of their form in La Liga though.
Now that Sevilla qualified for CL, will see them knock out from last 16 and go to Europa League again.

LOL!

You are probably right man! And then they win Europa again! LOL!

I am glad PSG lost the CL final.

Phew!

Let the Rich owners wait.

And a France player condemned a French team from making history.
But Bayern make history to become the new 'invincible', and with some help from
ex-Arsenal player.

Uefa has proposed this recent single game knockout format used in CL as it is more exciting.
I am up for it, as it will also benefit less richer clubs and in shorter time.
Without 2nd leg and away goals to fall back on, teams have been forced to go for it.
You might argue weaker teams would play defensively and go for penalties to stand a 50/50 chance. The format will be played after the q-final that is 8 teams left.
Those 8 teams that reach this stage are no walk over, every team will want to win during the normal time.
But then again, without fans(when the fans return) teams might lose out on financial rewards without gate collection.
Uefa has to up the prize money for this 8 teams.

Messi believes his release clause is no longer valid

Lionel Messi's contract is at the centre of his dispute with Barcelona.
rB8CLF7KhoCAVt-PAAEHYZFNjW4319.jpg.webp

The forward no longer considers himself part of the club after requesting a transfer, but the club are insisting that his 700 million euro release clause remains in play.
As a result of the delayed end to the 2019/20 season, Messi believes that the June 10 deadline for notifying the club of his desire to leave is no longer valid.
June 10 would've been ten days after the Champions League final in normal circumstances this year and Messi sent his transfer request to Barcelona just two days after the final between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Furthermore, Messi believes that, during the last year of his contract, the 700 million euro release clause is no longer valid - as reported by El Larguero on Saturday.
Barcelona introduced this clause, allowing Messi to leave during the last year of his deal, because the agreement to extend his contract was a friendly one.
Any club that wants to sign Messi will have to pay a transfer fee, but it will be nowhere near the 700 million euro mark.
Therefore, not only does the Argentine think he's free from his contract, but he thinks that any club he joins would have to pay much less than 700 million euros to sign him.
If Messi leaves the Camp Nou for free this summer, he could face legal action from Barcelona for failing to comply with his contract.
Either way, Barcelona will not let this go - they are demanding any club that wants to sign Messi must pay his full release clause.
Should the player leave the Catalan club this summer without an agreement on both sides, the transfer fee will be decided by a tribunal.
In the meantime, Messi is refusing to show up for PCR testing or the start of pre-season but remains keen to hold talks with Barcelona to arrange a peaceful exit

Yesterday game
Soton 2-5 Spurs
Son the first Asian to score 4 goals in one game.
Kane the first player to have 4 assists in one game.
In one of the passes, he sent Son through without even looking, a Glenn Hoddle speciality.
He also scored 1 goal.
Chelsea 0-2 Liverpool
Right at half time Chelsea downed to 10 man after VAR decision, rightly red carded, for bringing down Mane from a scoring opportunity.
Mane went on to score 2 goals, one a gift from Chelsea GK.
1. Leicester
2. Everton
3. Arsenal

Never see Klopp thrusted a new player days before signing without much training with the team for 45 mins of play in the 2nd half. He must has highly rated Thiago.
Chelsea with all the big signings still need a lot of works to be done.

Makes you wonder why Mourinho brought back Bale on loan. Attack options are not exactly Spurs's Achilles' heal at the moment.

I think he is trying to get rid of Dele Alli, just like ZZ getting rid of Bale.

LOL! Sevilla!

Who knows they may prefer to finish third and go defend their UEFA/Europa Cup title!

Where are all the Man U fanboys out there?
On this performance OGS will be out by Christmas. Embarrassing.

They have to keep faith with OGS. Remember that SAF also almost got sacked before he went on the multi decade winning streak.

It will happen with OGS. Just keep the faith. OGS is is a proven title winning coach.

Sack OGS
Aston Villa 7-2 Liverpool
Sack J. Klopp and Adrian.
Same as with OGS Liverpool need to keep the faith with Klopp.

Adrian on the other hand needs to be replaced.

Everytime Alisson is injured LFC collapse.
