Reason why so many foreigners !!

Actually, you do not need rocket science to deduce the reason as to why so many foreigners are "encouraged" to work and settle here.

The paramount reason is the extreme sinking birth rate and the increase in the number of aged Singaporeans coupled with the increase in the number of singles.

These younger foreigners will form a significant backbone to "support" the aged through taxes, etc etc.

U gotta be kidding. Too many PRCs congregating in close proximity will result the PRCs to start killing each other. Then again, what better way to reduce the FTs here in Spore.

That is besides the point I am making.

My main point is that the gahmen is doing the rational thing in encouraging the foreigners to settle in Singapore to equalise the problem of the increasing aged segment of our society due to extreme low birth rates and the increase in number of singles and divorced.

Do not get me wrong that I am a PAP supporter. I do not care two hoots about who is the gahmen as long as I am making money, to be honest!!

If anyone can do the maths and extrapolation of the aged in 30 years time vs the consistent low birth rate, it can be really scary. The younger generation will actually have extra-ordinary burden to support the aged and sick.

The "encouragement" of younger foreigners to settle here to me is one necessary step for the gahmen to implement if looking at ways to counteract the aging population.

I think your posting already complaint alot than singaporean employee.

What kind of salary you are paying to singaporean?

Do you expect singaporean to work overtime everyday without sense of humanity towards their personal life?

Do you expect singaporean employee to work extras without due respect to them?

Do you expect singaporean to be"Yes-man" doing work without brain like those foreigners?

I think this is enough for you to answer what is wrong with singaporean employee.

Are you treating PRC workers like slavery since you cant do it towards singaporean?

In my experience, most foreigners (especially ang moh - good at talking only since they slang alot) like to keng and pretend to be smart but when offered the task, often they either cant do it right or wasting time.

Athough there are some good FT but they are rare, but as for singaporean, majority are committed, they dont waste time, they ask when they dont know, again there are some who are fucking lazy and like to waste time ( Be it Chinese/Malay or Indian, all the same) but they are rare too.

Why I say Singaporean actually are better off than FT's, it is because Singaporean live here, they are committed to contribute to their own country besides with many monthly bills, children, housing etc...etc...

And as for FT, they are here as a stepping stone, when times ripe, they zoom off to the better place and better income.

Spare some thought about it!.

Foreigners who are working here and who are willing to settle here by taking up citizenship or PR for that matter can settle the chief and paramount problem of sustaining the increasing demograph of the aged in Singapore in the long run.

This is a fact if you look at the low birth rate as well as the increase in the number of Singaporeans who are single and divorced. These facts do not lie.

The gahmen is not blind as not to know that Singaporeans are complaining about this foreign "invasion" so to speak.

Let them in to settle but face flak to avert a slow death as a society in the future.
