I read a report that the victim's father, wife and child responded to the police call. Don't agree that the murder is an unfortunate accident. The murderer and his family had plenty of chances to sort out his mental problems.

Not interested in doing social work, but I can donate some money. Do you know of any worthy people or causes to donate to?

my sympathy and empathy is for all ,particularly the murdered ..at his age he must have some dependent and family too

having said that may i suggest you do some social work...no, i am not being sarcastic, than you will come across all kinds of people all kinds of situation including caring for mentally challenged children ...it's a continuous thankless jobs ..one misstep and you may have murder like this in hand ...so ,let's not lay blames here and there .at least I won't

but there must be some punishment or taking a life becomes a joke ...my axe is if the boy is indeed mentally challenged and did not understand what he is being punished for ..than the murder is good as an unfortunate accident

Absolutely agree and I am with you on this.

As I get older, I have less sympathies for people, more sympathies for animals. People are dangerous. The murderer needs to be put away for life, or put down. No excuses like mental problem, played too much GTA video game, blah blah. He has forfeited his life and the right to be in society.

I totally agree with your entire post except the last 10 words.

It is sad to see a young man lost his life for no apparent reason; he went jogging and someone knifed him. The culprit was caught and his mother claimed he was insane.

It is not acceptable to claim insanity to escape the hangman. The IMH will decide whether he is insane and to what degree of insanity that prompted him to kill someone unknown to him. If he could carry a knife with him, it is obvious that he knew the knife is a weapon that can hurt or kill people. Is this insanity?

A life for a life; and to some people, Islamic laws do make sense to punish killers. If this law principle is not applied, how many innocent people are going to die when jogging at night?

May his soul rest in peace to know that ultimately, justice will be served and the paps will ensure his killer gets to see the hangman.

If born xiao then got chance to escape, but if unsound mind caused by drugs or alcohol, no chance.

When I see a person or an animal in need, I try to help. Because if I don't, I will regret later. And I don't like dealing with guilt.
