She is still in singapore, hence not contributing to the australian economy, not paying taxes there. But she expects to run back to australia to take advantage of cheap hospital birth for her child, and milk the aussie system for what ever benefits she can get at that time. At the same time, if her son is born there, he will be an aussie citizen, so no need for NS, and we can be assured that her son will do primary, secondary school in singapore, and skip NS. She sounds just like one of these FT PR bitches that come to singapore from another country and milk the system, and than leave for good when it suits them.

If she thinks singapore is the place to be, than throw away her PR. She would not want her husband to be married to 2 wives, but she is in effect married to 2 countries. In other words, in australia, she would be considered the same as what we consider FTs here, namely, an asshole.

as for me, I hv already expressed my plans. if i hv no children, i will stay in SG as I love SG. I will continue to speak against the present pap. But if I hv children, I will migrate for their sake. Why I migrate is not because i dont like nor love SG..it's because i dont want my children to be burdened and stressed out by pap bad policies.

Asia has started to decouple itself from US and Europe.

It's better to migrate back to Singapore and frolick amongst the roses. Better still sell your Australian / NZ property and get a property in Singaporem your backyard is blooming, all the bankers have dislodged themselves in US and europe and migrating to Asia where greeener pastures have emerged.

I agree on the quality of life but it is because of the policy choices the Govt have taken with regard to housing and immigration. But I disagree with the issue of education. I have seen enough of the by-products of the Ozzie education.

Oh please, stop with the crap already. Your friend needs to stop blaming the PAP. It has nothing to do with them. She is just exploiting another country just like the countless number of FTs exploit our country. This is entirely about her ethics and morals, and I guess she is low on them. If she doesn't see any future in singapore, LEAVE THE FUCK NOW. Wait for what? Thousands of sinkies would gladly take an aussie PR and get lost from here if they can. If she is a true blood sinkie, why even apply for a PR from another country? U are not making any sense at all. She is just a traitor to her own country. Regarding your plans to have children. Really, u are in a catch 22 situation aren't you? How to have children here if u are at your age, how to even find a husband? Your marriage shelf life is already expiring, and u have to catch a husband that is not into younger women. They like women who can be seen and not heard.
