i dont blame the 60% as they dont get to hear nor read the truth.
many of the 60% are our mums , dads, grandmas, granddads who are thankful and grateful to the old pap..they do not know the present pap..
but the pap is getting more despised with each passing day..so come the next GE, I have no doubt that the vote for pap will go down...

Those old leaders did not take high salaries like the multi-millions which their old surviving peers are taking after they are all gone. the FTs feel cheated because they were conned by the recruitment agents..they were painted a rosy picture of employment in SG..they were told half truths..they were not told of high cost of living in SG..they were not told fully of their employment terms...
these are simple village folks from 3rd world countries. they are trusting and honest, hard working folks who just want to make lives better for their families. they felt exploited and yet do not know how to seek recourse for their predicament. SATS PRC workers, Bangladeshi construction workers and SMRT PRC drivers are examples...The SMRT drivers strike is the tip of the iceberg.
Many FTs who got SG citizenship empathise with the foreign workers in SG and they may not vote for the pap
