Jack Neo was embroiled in a series of sex scandals lately when his mistress 22 year old Wendy Chong leaked news about their affair to the press.

Since then, a dozen of women including Foyce Le Xuan had stepped forward to accuse him of sexual harrassment.

A former employee of Jack’s entertainment group, Foyce had earlier told the media that Jack had made numerous sexual advances towards her including inviting her to a hotel room to share “personal” and “quiet” moments with him.

She also claimed that she was gradually dropped from acting assignments and projects because she had rejected all sexual overtures from Jack and kept the harrassing SMSes from Jack as evidence.

Jack denied that he had sexually harrassed Foyce and counter-accused her of lying:

“She really has no other motives? Where is the evidence? Can those few SMSes be used as evidence?” Jack was quoted as saying in Shin Min Daily yesterday.

A sobbing Foyce who had been receiving threatening SMSes from strangers the last few days told The New Paper yesterday that she is going to make a police report against Jack Neo, describing him as “inhuman” and “devil”.

When asked if Jack had sex with her, all she would say was “if I confess to this, the matter will blow up.”

She revealed that her pastor from City Harvest Church had advised her not to speak to the media for now.

The Jack Neo saga which has captured the attention of the nation for an entire week, looks likely to continue with Foyce’s stunning revelation.

It remains to be seen if the police will investigate the matter as Jack Neo is known to be closely associated with the PAP and appears to have the support of some PAP MPs and ministers.

Alternative hypothesis: Perhaps she was molested/raped by JN. Out of shame/fear for her career, she did not dare come forward. She however saved the sms and other evidence in case one day she wanted to make it a police case. When the Wendy Chong story broke, she was reminded of what had happened to her and came forward. This hypothesis would seem consistent with why she was crying so badly. According to Aware, almost 50% of women get sexually harassed. If it was not an act, the tears could be because she was reliving the molest/rape.

This is an issue of morality, any Singaporean ministers have to be more cautious of their words and played a better roles to their own citizens. I personally do not agree with Mr. George Yeo’s point of view on this matter. How could a foreign minister of Singapore can answer to the world where he can easily support and forgive an intentional act of adultery?
