Hello every ones ! Gong si fa cai ! This year new year very good . I and Mamalee is still heathy and happy . But every things is expensive so we eat simple foods like giam cai , giam neng , cai bor . And drinks tap water .

Attended a nite wake 1st day of CNY. Deceased was my Chinese friend (Tiong Engi) dad who passed away on eve of CNY.. Other than some close relatives not many people were at the wake. Tiong Eng lamented even i took the trouble to come to the wake although i am just a casual friend to him. Most of his relatives didnt turn up cos its taboo to turn up on an auspicious day being CNY.

So while most of us were happy celebrating CNY, Hari Raya or Xmas, there were some whos not joyous as us during the festive season. I really feel for Tiong Eng during this bereavement period.

Just finished my marathon mahjong session. Eyes like Panda. Initially suggested 20 THB per "tai" and i got stares from everyone around me.
