Attending such sales gathering is very uplifting and leaves those attendees the sense of euphoria. Like those talks given by companies such as Adam Khoo Learning Centre, and other companies, giving one a sense of empowerment and even made many cry. Even City Harvest and similar churches can brainwash the gullible. It is only after leaving and one faces life's reality then we come down to earth. Technically, life insurance is run on MLM model. It expanded 5 or even 6 levels deep in the 80s when the high interests returns on investments afford them to do so. Honestly speaking, started this thread because my GF was 'invited to a big meeting' in a 5 star auditorium to 'hear from the most successful in the business'. Was asked to join in but rejected right away. As of now, she's still in the 'power meeting'. My thinking is this a just a brainwash session and yet so many people can fall for it. I don't like it not because of the MLM products but the new thinking she learnt from these MLM folks. Not all bad, but I just don't like it. Hope she understand this soon.

If your gf is thai and intrested in mlm, there is one company which i think has a good true mlm system and does not rip off people and is a good company with good product called oriflame. They have a building in bangkok. If your gf is really thai, then she will know this brand.

Another good thing is singapore do not have this brand. This show that the company is smart. Only those con companies are in sinkieland. Hahahahhaha....

It was the members of the Insurance industry that lobbied the govt to differentiate between Pyramid schemes and MLM. Many of them not only sold Insurance but during the sale managed to identify the gullible Alamaks of our society. I know one Insurance bigshots whose wife was fitted out to run MLM rubbish. Ho Peng Kee announced the lifting of the ban. Quite irresponsible.

That is why Insurance agents fall just above 2nd hand car dealers. They conveniently changed their name to Financial Planners. Ever wonder why Insurance agents are in the leadership of many of the new age churches. The Rock's right hand man is in Insurance.

Notice also that Insurance and New Age church members tend to dress along similar lines.

Another option is to go with the flow and 'crack' the MLM by exposing it's flaws (monetary specific) and not only you get to save yourself, you are also doing a favor to your sis and bro. Assumption here is that you are analytical enough and is fairly good with numbers.

Do you really need to buy a products which you don't really need, and in the meantime you have to try sales talk and convince yours friends and relatives to get into the MLM thingy (they might be doing the same thing) what % is going to be split from the top before it trickle down to you.

The time and effort you have to put in, you might as well forget about doing your regular job cause you need to hit a target before you see any return, and there is no gurantee that it will work.
