I'm Anglican Episcopal. Tell you fact is many of the COE bishops and brethrens don't really believe in God. It's more of a political club at bishop level and social club at brethren level.

No, I don't have any political ambition. I'm not qualified to that level. A social busybody at best. Like the national pledge is just an aspiration, a religious faith is just an institution. I still say the same, don't be too bothered about what others claim to believe or disbelieve. Not worth crusading over.

why religion not bothering you ? It is your organized religions that have made it clear through their most sacred scriptures that cruelty and killing is an acceptable response to human frailty and human differences. This goes against every human instinct, organized religion has reorganized human thoughts. Some humans have even been turned against their own instinct for survival. And so people go around maiming and killing each other, because they've been told quite directly that this is what God does to them--and what God wants them to do to each other.

Watch the film Soylent Green with Charlton Heston. It's an excellent film about recycling humans. It's not as bad as it sounds more humane than an old persons nursing home.

It's poppycock to believe that an elderly person wants to go into a home. There's clearly no one to look after them, and the families are too selfish and greedy and wouldn't make the sacrifice. Children, the sick and disabled also have little say in their future - it's a sad reality.

Old gits don't want to pass the burden of guilt on to their children and families and agree - I'm glad I haven't had to make the choice.
