As a Christian,he cried when he had to support the opening of casino (IR) as he argued that IR will create plenty job opportunities (for who ?).He was the former MP for Ulu Pandan when he defeated Ashleigh Seow of the SDP. Heard he was minister for some time and then later transferred to the PMO as minister without portfolio for many years. Quite recently,he was assigned as the Chairman of Temasek. He is the master in the skills of effective crying.Most possibly,Pinky and Zorro Lim learnt the skills from him.
