I dunno about that. Back then as a 17 year old I was still like I love SG PAP is good for SG. And I think all of us were apolitical in that sense. I didnt even know who LBH was! LOL!

But we gathered that he was intimidated by that cos he comes from humble background and knows that the relationship will never work cos people like LBH would want their daughter to marry rich influential guy from well known family or something.

So he stopped. Well that's what we think lah.

I met that Lim guy once. I was coming back from zhuhai to HKIA likewise he and his group of kakis. All men carrying Golf bags. For those familiar there is a ferry from zhuhai that goes to HKIA directly. That Lim dunno he drunk or what went to the wrong immigration counter and queue like a blur fuck until being told by the HK immigration. I was at the correct queue and I fucked off before him. I was shaking my head lamenting the quality of the minister we had.
I believe he was travelling on private capacity hence didn’t go via diplomatic channel. Anyway to zhuhai who knows.
