Probably an abscess. An x ray will reveal what's going on. You may need to have a root canal.

if you can pinpoint which tooth, go buy Clove Oil from Unity or Guardian or Watson...............4-5 bucks for one bottle, made in England..............use earbud and dab the oil on the tooth a few times a day for 2-3 days......................confirm pain go away..............works for me and others for years !


if it's the gums then its an abscess...............then buy hydrogen peroxide from pharmacy........add water and gargle.........add it to water and sea salt and baking soda for more power.....................gargle and it'll foam up in mouth....................gargle a few times a day..................confirm abscess gone !

If the abscess at the base of the root, there is no way hydrogen peroxide is going to do anything. Root surgery is the only solution.

I doubt he paint a lot but maybe has a lot of pain.

Buy NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) such as Ibuprofen which is available at the polyclinics or any pharmacy. They will require your identity card before selling them to you. Soragel or similar medicine can help reduce the swelling of the inflammation.

Still remember a troublesome toothache that I had when I was working onboard a vessel.. We were heading to Tanjong Priok Port when I had this throbbing painful toothache.. Felt feverish and the awful hot weather made the pain more worse.. Then my Chief Officer gave me a glass of Whisky and told me to gargle it few times.. True enough the pain was gone 30 min later..
