Anyone who still thinks VAR is a good idea in its present form needs to watch the complete shambles around that City penalty decision.
#SpursvManCity
Which penalty decision? The first one or the one after the penalty was saved?
Lol.
Mike Dean is another crap referee. He kept saying the Spurs player got the ball so no penalty. Then VAR says penalty. The least he could do is go to the monitors and have a look and concur or over rule VAR. But he wont. Lazy bugger.
For the Lloris foul on Raheem Sterling after the penalty save, it looked like a penalty to me. But if VAR and Dean didnt give it then it was a dive by Sterling and he should have been sent off. Again Mike Dean is rubbish.
Oh and Lloris was off his line before the ball was kicked for the penalty so it should have been retaken.
Justice was served when Zinchenko was sent off for his technical foul. ManCity are experts in technical fouls when players make breaks through their defensive high line. What a rubbish tactic by Guardiola.
Guardiola is a good tactician. Very good at managing sides with great players and a strong budget to buy top players. But he does not coach players to become better, he does not develop young players.
The best coach in the world now is Jurgen Klopp. We Liverpool fans are very thankful and grateful to have him. A very humble man despite his very admirable work. The challenge for Klopp now is to win the trophies to match the work he has done.
He knows this which is why he signed the 4 year extension.
After that the team will need rebuilding and it will be someone else's turn. Likely Liverpool will lose its status at the top when the rebuilding happens.
