Striker Luis Suarez will be banned for Liverpool's home match against Newcastle on Friday after admitting making an offensive gesture to Fulham fans earlier this month.

That's great news for those who makan Liverpool. Without Suarez, Liverpool will be even more terrible. I will up my bet.

I think Liverfool might surprise a few punters by beating Newcastle with ease.

Gambling is always like that, expect the unexpected.
I will put my money on Liverpool to win, now that the odds
are slightly better for the unavailability of Suarez.

Why so big big bet? Those draw specialists (refer to earlier posts) clowns who have been receiving kickbacks may suddenly find their midas touches again. :p

Re: Football Krazy

Can only say he is very hardworking. Poor in almost all else. How he made it to the Dutch national team is a mystery. Very poor ball control skills.

Yes his hardwork is his only plus.. Other than that, he's really hopeless... I give up hope on Lpool already this season.. They have been giving me so much heartache...

Liverpool vs Newcastle Team News

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is unavailable for Friday's Premier League visit of Newcastle as he serves a one-match suspension.

That could give Andy Carroll the chance to make back-to-back league starts for the first time since the beginning of November.

Captain Steven Gerrard returned from a two-month absence with a substitute appearance on Boxing Day, but is likely to start on the bench again.

Newcastle's in-form frontman Demba Ba will be fit to take his place in the side.

The Senegal international, who scored his 14th goal of the season at Bolton on Boxing Day, suffered a knock to his knee but will be fit.

Full-back Davide Santon, who missed out at the Reebok Stadium with a knee problem, is fit and Dan Gosling has completed his three-match ban, but Danny Guthrie (groin), Peter Lovenkrands (calf) and Steven Taylor (Achilles) remain on the sidelines.

Teams:

Liverpool (from): Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique, Kuyt, Adam, Henderson, Downing, Carroll, Bellamy, Doni, Kelly, Carragher, Coates, Shelvey, Gerrard, Spearing, Rodriguez.

Newcastle (from): Krul, Elliot, Harper, Simpson, R Taylor, Santon, Ferguson, Perch, Coloccini, Williamson, Kadar, Tiote, Cabaye, Obertan, Ben Arfa, Gutierrez, Sammy Ameobi, Gosling, Abeid, Vuckic, Smith, Ba, Best, Shola Ameobi.
