Brigitte Bardot was originally a dancer but went into acting in the ‘50s. She starred in And God Created Women by Robert Vadim, which served as her breakthrough. One American critic said that the star is “undeniably a creation of superlative craftsmanship.” She became famous during a conservative time and was even the subject of Simone de Beauvoir’s Brigitte Bardot and The Lolita Syndrome. While she is an animal rights activist, she has been fined for racial hatred 5 times.

Swedish-born Anita Ekberg starred in a number of American and European films. Based in Italy, she is best known for starring in La Dolce Vita. She had always been a beauty and even modeled in her teens. She entered both the Miss Malmö and Miss Sweden pageants. There is no denying how beautiful she was. Luckily, her daughter managed to survive the terrible accident.
