Ms. Teo Chew Hoon has been an Executive vice President of Commercial & Roads at SMRT Corp. Ltd. since March 1, 2011. Ms. Teo served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Business at SMRT Taxis Pte Ltd and SMRT Corp. Ltd. Ms. Teo served as Vice President at SMRT Taxis Pte Ltd. of SMRT Corp. Ltd. since January 2010. One major lesson learnt is that the EVP pay package needs a major upgrade to invigorate this key executive. Quite obviously she was demoralized when she is paid so much lower than her boss, the CEO. As such she was distracted by personal financial hardship and feeling of being under appreciated.

Given the seriousness of this matter, the PM has decided to convene an BOI with a budget of $15 mil. However, in view of urgency of this matter, Ms Teo will be guaranteed a 30 month bonus for this year to be paid out next month.

I am sure, amongst the Singaporeans, there is at least one individual who is able to be the COO for Singpost.

May be, I am eligible, and qualified with sufficient business experience for that job, instead of giving it to a foreigner.

The large bonus was probably paid out because she significantly exceeded her corporate KPIs. We of course now know this was achieved via innovative schemes like salary discrimination by nationality.

Tai Chi skills are essential in order to thrive in the corporate world.

I was very good at it. During my stint in an MNC, I used taichi to deflect the blame of all my screw ups onto poor innocent sods who had done no wrong.

One of them even ended up getting fired for something that was 100% my fault. It was hilarious.

her base salary ard $17k per month but noticed she received almost one yr wages in bonus. why those bloodsuckers on the top grade always get so many month bonuses wheras ppl at the bottom have to made do with AWS only.

So all ministar level also on the same??? bonus = 01yr annual base salary?

After the generous infusion of taxpayer money and resources, SMRT is in pretty good shape. Almost all of the SMRT senior management should have hit their KPIs. They are therefore eagerly looking forward to large juicy year end bonuses.
