Singapore Casinos

hehehe... watching people playing a game of blackjack can be rather intense and entertaining, especially when you see the dealer's table flashing 12~16 points and folks chanting for a picture :p:p:p

ahhh...yes, that can be entertaining.

but wouldnt you rather gamble than watch?

isn't it a huge gamble to have your kid in Singapore if you truly believe that Singapore is crumbling?:confused::confused:

i am not a gambler.

all i said is that if i were pregnant, i wld probably give birth in SG as my gynae is here.

but as I hv said before, i will migrate if i hv children.

i see bad news ahead for SG and singaporeans and i rather not put my children in SG

you dont pay any levy to enter SG's casino?
why are you under the impression that me had gone into the casinos in RWS and/or MBS before?

ahhh...yes, that can be entertaining. but wouldnt you rather gamble than watch?
placing bets for every round is suicidal. spending time to watch other gamers can be equally entertaining. me enter the casino for entertainment :p:p:p

hmm... must have missed that. but good for you :p:p:p

this thread is abt the future of SG casinos so I assumed that you have been to MBS or RWS.

I maybe wrong.

good if you have not been to MBS nor RWS

to me, gambling can get a person addicted and that is suicidal..

dulu lah sebelum lion city have casino. now they suffering people rather come

going to a place with resources is always better :p:p:p

true..but it's not just abt economics

it is also abt life balance and also how a country treats its own citizens.

the way the pap treats Singaporeans, it deserved to be voted out 10years ago

The pap shd be wise and follow Korea..invest on knowledge and technology. Such gain in technology and knowledge cant be easily replicated by other countries..look at Korea...booming..with Samsung, Hyundai, etc..producing cars, phones, etc...

The PAP is addicted to cheap labour and cheap money. They have lost the desire to build the manufacturing and technological sector.

Even more reason to vote them out.

I totally agree.

addiction to cheap labour. importing cheap labour. no need to educate and train own people. that's what the pap thought is the recipe for success.

but addiction and easy way out bring with them social problems

and Singapore is facing a lot of social problems which instant cheap foreign labourers bring with them to Singapore. littering, spitting, different values and behaviours result in a dirty Singapore and great affective divide.

all these due to the misgovernance by the pap.

crumbling of Singapore is on the horizon

Not just the social problems. The PAP has totally lost the concept of good governance. One of the key pillars of good governance is to foster entrepeurship and business risk taking, coupled with advances in productivity. I see all these going down rapidly in Singapore. That's very worrisome. As a nation the drive to excel and take risks is no longer there. Everything is about hiring the cheapest person, getting the cheap money flowing, doing things the easy way, and avoid the hassle of thinking and exploring.

Truly a very serious dilemna.

In time to come they will waive the $100 entry fee for Singaporeans.... a new wave of fresh blood can be used

You don't know the real S Korea. Prostituition appears there in 20 different disguises from coffee shops, childcare centres to hair saloons... almost every street corner exists a fuckshop, and sadly its where most 17yo boys go to break their cherry...... most of the youngsters are bespectacled computer game playing smoker punks.... welcome to technology

great insights! I fully agree with you

a good government strives, but not confined, to:

1. eradicate poverty
2. redistribute wealth
3. educate and train the citizens
4. improve the lives of the citizens
5. build infrastructure
6. help orphans, widows, aged and the sick
7. not self serving
8. charts the country's future
9. leads the people
10. establish and maintain law and order
11. defend the country against external aggression
etc..

sounds like you are also describing SG.

But I know Korea has Samsung, LG, Hyundai, etc. What does SG have?
