Singapore Casinos

so croupier plays according to fixed rules? take card at 16points? stay at 17points?

Yes. Some can stand or hit on soft 17 (Ace and 6) as well. The rules might differ among casinos or area but printed big big on every table. Also Pontoon (BJ variant) got slightly different rules....

CNY time relatives come your house gamble then dealer can make judgement call.

Printed on table top.....
Croupiers machiam robots......even if he got x-ray eyes he knows next card will bust him he will still have to draw the card.
House always wins because they never need to make judgement calls.......the player makes the call and usually the more choices you have to make the more you will have chance to lose.......even when you bet football......between 2 teams you choose one........the bookie does not choose but leaves the choice to you......

Cause the house always wins.
Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you.
Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet big, then you take the house

i agree with you.

what i dont understand is why do people gamble when they know that in the long run, the house wins

十賭九輸....every gambler thinks he can be the elusive 10th gambler.......what they dunno is....

but the odds of winning in a casino is almost zero in the long run.

those who lost, want to recoup. those who win, will continue as they want to win more, so in the end, every gambler will lose thier pants

nope, got rules to follow. they only stop punters from placing bets above table limits or those who didn't place enough chips ;););)

ic..that means the croupier just ensure that the table rules are followed

you obviously dun gamble......there is no judgement call for croupier to make.........

I already said I do not gamble. This method was told to me by an old friend of mine, some 10 years back. He was a card reader and frequented the Macau circuit together with some friends of his in the past and had won to the extent that he got barred from some casinos there. Perhaps the casinos were different, therefore the rules were different or perhaps over time the rules have changed.

trainer, jockey, horse are all part of the winning combination. even if you know the trainer well, doesnt mean that his tip will always be correct

tip is a misunderstood word in horse racing. all the trainer had was his confident on his/her horse to win. By giving the info to the owners, the owners can try to win more $$ via betting instead of counting the winning horse purse.

when a horse is good, the horse can bring any lousy jockey to the winning post. if the horse CMI, even the best jockey in the world would not increase the horse winning chance.

as for horse racing being dirty, it no more dirty than other sports ie..F1 teams force the second driver to give way to first driver, football teams play to a draw to knock out the third team, badminton player purposely lose in other to avoid a better team in the next round etc etc... horse racing look bad because it a sport that equal wagering since the dawn of history but in nowsaday, bookmakers allow betting in all sort of sports so it not fair that only horse racing is being single out.

Casinoes are purely for entertainment. You will definitely lose money in the long run. To make money you have to turn to the stock, bond and commodity markets where you can put the risk/reward parameters in your favour.

horse can be good.

owner can be sincere with his tips

but jockey can pull back the horse's reins!

the high rollers are there purely for entertainment?

If you play basic strategy for blackjack, the odds for the player are ALMOST even with the house. The last i know, RWS is slightly less advantageous than MBS for the blackjack player, but as the player your odds are always below 50%.

If you can't stick to basic strategy, you will definitely lose in the long run.

almost even odds is very good.

what's the difference between RWS and MBS' blakjacks that make RWS more advantageous?

Typo: RWS is less advantageous.

I'm not an expert so i can't explain. But angmoh forums have talked about it in detail.
