I look forward to watch #NDP2022 at The Float after two years of downsized Parades. Our theme this year — #StrongerTogether — reminds us how we overcome challenges and will soar and rise stronger together to a better future of Singapore.
This year’s Parade will also take on a greater meaning as it will be our last year celebrating our nation’s birthday at The Float, before it is redeveloped into NS Square. I hope everyone has a good show come 9 August — all the best & Happy Birthday, Singapore

These few years have been especially trying for our nurses. They have been working tirelessly on the frontlines of our battle against COVID-19, in addition to tending to the everyday healthcare needs of their patients.
Nurses are the unsung heroes in our community and we need to continue supporting them, so I am glad that more than 25,000 nurses serving in the public healthcare clusters will be receiving a well-deserved special payment package, which will help ensure that they remain a key pillar of Singapore’s healthcare system.
To all our nurses here in Singapore, thank you for your dedication, patience and perseverance. Here’s wishing all of you a Happy Nurses’ Day!

Glad to welcome a US Congressional Delegation led by Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi earlier today.
We affirmed the close and long-standing bilateral partnership between our countries, as well as the crucial role of the United States in providing the framework for regional peace, stability and progress. We look forward to deepening our cooperation with the US in many areas including the green economy, sustainable finance and the digital economy. We are grateful for our many friends in Congress, who play an important role in strengthening ties between Singapore and the United States.
