3 days to Singapore’s 57th birthday!
Celebrated our nation’s birthday with our North West GRCs yesterday. Families and residents had a good bonding time and enjoyed a wide variety of activities including fireworks. This marked our first large-scale National Day celebrations in the heartlands since the pandemic - happy to see everyone enjoyed their day out!
My wish for Singapore is for everyone to stay united and safe. Together, we can overcome our challenges and progress together as one nation.

Get active at our Singapore Sports hub! Attended National Day celebrations with Edwin Tong and more than 1,600 Singaporeans and Team Singapore athletes.
This celebration was a special one as it’s our first mass workout at the National Stadium since the outset of the pandemic. We are in a better position today because of everyone’s contributions and efforts, and the trust we have in one another. Let’s continue to keep the faith as we chart our new way forward.

Glad to participate in the National Day Observance Ceremonies at the Istana with President Halimah Yacob, PM Lee Hsien Loong, and DPM Heng Swee Keat, as well as at the Treasury with my Ministry of Finance (Singapore) and PMO colleagues today.
It was heartening to see a sea of red and white gathered together at both locations to celebrate our nation's 57th birthday, for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
To our public officers, take heart that the work you do is important to the nation. All your hard work and efforts have helped Singaporeans to overcome our challenges and strive toward a better future.
Let's continue strengthening our social compact and charting our new way forward together.

Happy National Day everyone! We had a wonderful celebration with more than 1,500 Our Limbang residents last night - made all the more special because it was our first full-scale ND dinner since the start of the pandemic. Enjoy the public holiday and stay tuned for #NDP2022 later this evening!
