Singapore appointed 2 idiots to lead the task force.

Lawrence enjoys gardening.

Best part about our community gardens is that they bring people together, and we get to harvest and distribute the vegetables for all residents to enjoy!

What makes us Singaporean? It's our mindsets, our shared experiences, our food, and our way of life. It's in the way we talk, work, and cheer for Team Singapore together.
We all grew up with different experiences, and we all have multiple identities. It's part of who we all are — in our multi-racial and multi-religious country.

There is still more to do as we journey towards becoming a more united nation. But we have come far through the years, and we celebrate the common ground that unites us all.
Thanks OnePeople.sg and our youth today, for the great discussion (and many questions!) on our multi-racial identity. Each of us has a role to play in creating a fairer, more cohesive and inclusive society. This is part of what the #ForwardSG exercise is about, and our youths have a very important role to play.

Why then bringing in hundreds of thousands of CECA Indians to discord our harmony and cohesiveness?

Lawrence finds it great to work with young activists.

Great to work with our young PAP activists from Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC to help clean up the homes of our vulnerable seniors, and provide them with new household appliances. These ground-up initiatives complement the government’s programmes to ensure we take care of all who need help, and leave no one behind

Had a great Racial Harmony Walk in Our Limbang with our residents over the weekend. Singapore is unique in that we can have representatives from diverse religious organisations - the church, mosque, as well as Chinese and Hindu temples in our estate - to come together as one people, and to learn more about each other’s faiths.
In Singapore, we celebrate our multi-racial and multi-religious identity. It is an identity that we never take for granted, and must always cherish as part of the fabric of our nation.
Thanks to Limbang IRCC and Yew Tee IRCC for organising this!

Meet Mdm Chan - she’s 79 and full of life and laughter. She volunteers at weekly classes to help seniors stay active, and even shaved her head to support those with cancer!
Our Pioneer Generation like Mdm Chan received MediSave top-ups in July, as part of our support for seniors. Our Merdeka Generation received them too.
Let’s continue to care for our seniors and raise awareness for positive aging! #gosilversg

Lawrence looks forward to National Day.

After two years of muted National Day Parades, this year’s NDP is even more special for all of us. #NDP2022 marks the first full-scale parade since the pandemic, and celebrates the resilience of our Singapore spirit.
As we get ready to celebrate Singapore’s 57th birthday, I visited our Red Lions, C-130 aircrew, and The Republic of Singapore Air Force NDP 2022 participants!

At the break of dawn, our Red Lions were already geared up for their rehearsal jump. I saw how dedicated and focused they were during their pre-flight preparations, and their strong sense of camaraderie.
Get ready to cheer for them come 7 August as they do free-fall jumps over Bishan and Ghim Moh, and on 9 August at The Float!
Don’t forget to look to the skies as the RSAF Chinooks fly our flag through Singapore’s heartlands, and our F-16 fighters conduct the island flypast on National Day evening.
Kudos to our servicemen and women who stand ready to protect our nation. I thank all of you for your many contributions to our nation's defence. #StrongerTogether, Majulah Singapura!

Sandy Wong is one of our three female Red Lions featured this year. This year would be her first time participating in NDP as a Red Lions to do free-fall jumps into Ghim Moh.
