Its not only the RSAF but the various services of govt. Just look at the comments from forummers when such cases are mentioned. They are not aware of it.

As to having the coroner's inquiry - you have no idea the pressure that coroner's have been facing. During the CI when the entire lot of OCS trainers lied under oath except for one, the GCT called the coroner directly and instructed him to return a verdict and close the inquiry. As to the towing incident, SAF resisted investigation by the Police and the Coroner had to demand progress report to answers on a number of occasions.

Forumners aware or not aware, who cares? Most of them are ignorant and act like ostriches. if they really want to educate themselves, the info is out there. They are just too lazy. I can categorically tell u that its the SAF's policy to cover up as much as possible and that any fault must lie with the individual involved, even though it may be an equipment fault or a superior's fault. I came close to losing my life several times in the army. So what? I know who is to blame for the cock ups, but what to do? even professional armies like the US Army, IDF, etc. will cover up as much as they can too. Nothing new. move on
