Setia Eco Cascadia

we all just sharing.. no issue. if not wrong the lot is next to TNB station, that's why cannot sell. location is good, facing green and also new commercial lot on the setia indah side.

But the walnut unit on the other end, also next to TNB Station, sold long ago. Hmm....wonder why :D

silly question here. I am going to make payment for the 2nd 10%, they will accept the amount in cash right?

am sure they will but please don't bring that kind of cash around in m'sia.

yeah i know but what is the better way to make payment? i'm also scared to bring that amount of money around
Check your invoice first , mine has error so I have requested for a new invoice. As for payment I will TT MY$ to my MY current account with RHB. I also open SGD account with them when the rate is good I will convert it to MYD. You can also dropped a SGD cheque with SEC but the exchange rate will be at their mercy...l mean at the point of time they can't tell u the exchange rate but my previous experience the rate is not too bad.

as what rocker said: TT to MY account, drop a sgd cheque to MY bank account, open CIMB account in both sg and my and can do free malaysia transfer (i'm doing that), get a relative who have bank account to pay first you settle with relative later etc.. many ways. not wise to tempt providence by bringing large amount of cash in malaysia.

You can also TT direct to the payee's account. Just ask them for their bank account number, branch name and address. MayBank Sg accepts TT from non-MayBank customers as well, although the rates are not as good. There is an additional small charge for paying into non-MayBank account in Msia but this is still better than carrying cash. Hope this helps.

alternatively, 1/2 TT, 1/2 cash ;3/4 TT, 1/4 Cash (depends on due day of e payment) to any of your MY bank, buy banker cheque there. :)

If carry cash, don't hug your bag like you got 80K to rob. Dress normally and make your way straight to lawyer office.

You can also go money changer to TT direct to Setia's bank account as no limit to remit to third party. Remember to get full Bank details including Setia's bank Swift Code.

Thanks for all the input! Should have asked all the gurus here beforehand! Btw, payment is at the taman Setia indah sales gallery right?

Welcome! Congrats on the purchase! Did you fall under the 1% booking fee? Manage to get DIBS scheme? Many banks has now rejected DIBS applications.

Hi.

Yes. 1% Deposit. DIBS non guranteed. So is Foreigner levy %. :(

I Thought the progressive payment cover under bank loan or you did not take up the bank loan? If without loan any discount?

yes, i took bank loan but only 80%. i still must cover the remaining amount after the discount. :)
