Talk about satay. Still prefer the good old days. Makan satay in the open those days (like satay club) is just different from present day.

Anyway, for indoor, can try the famous Haron satay at UEC. Price at 0.70cts a stick. Reasonable. But only take away due to current pandemic....

forget about the past.
nowadays I buy this unskewered pork satay from leo.
taste very good.
just dump into microwave for 6.9mins straight from freezer and it's done nicely.
porky meat is tender and sauce is perfect.

u can get from any major supermarket.
about $7
during promo at food events, they sell at $5 to $6
very worth it
no hassle with fucking sticks
tried chicken and beef. both these don't perform well in microwaves.
the pork ones perform nearest. very tender after microwaved.

K.N.N.

Me nephew remembered sometime ago, 7-Eleven also sell pre-pack satay.
Also put few mins in microwave.
The meat is tender and the gravy was good too.
Wonder why they are not selling anymore.

Good old days - we order a mixture of cheekon, mutton, pork satays.
One group of buddies over beer.
Plus BBQ stingray, etc --- truly enjoyable.

Even though this is technically a fishball noodles stall, the main dish is actually bak chor mee. The chef uniquely pairs bak chor mee with a bowl of loaded fishball soup! The soup comes with fishballs, minced pork, slices of fresh pork liver and even prawns! Pork liver can be difficult to cook to the perfect tenderness, but it is done just right at Ah Ter Teochew Fishball Noodles. However, the highlight is definitely the many ingredients that are thrown into your soup! Watch our video on the Facebook page, covering how this Hawker Hunk makes this amazing dish.

This seemingly simple snack shop is actually one of the most popular in Amoy Street Food Centre! J2 Famous Crispy Curry Puff’s curry puffs have satisfied many customers who call them the best curry puffs in Singapore! Furthermore, they have also been listed in the Singapore Michelin Bib Gourmand Guide consecutively in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Each of these golden ingots sells for $1.20, and their sardine curry puffs are super highly recommended! The secret to a good curry puff pastry is in its layers, which are evident from the spirals of pastry puff decorating each curry puff.

This is how it looks inside.
