Retrenchments, unemployment in S’pore up in Q3 but job market continues to expand: MOM

More good years to cum
Erection cumming….

sinkies voted for this
MOM still stupidly believes that by opening both arms and legs to bring in hundreds of thousands of CECA Indians can help to create more and better pay jobs for locals, despite hundreds of thousands of local PMET have lost their jobs.

Pay And Pay wants to create their own version of "reality" to look like they have done a marvellous job of keeping the unemployment rate low.
Unemployment for non residents and PR are low at the expense of high unemployment rate of locals?

It seems like whatever ministers said in the Parliament cannot believe it 100%?

Whatever is said in Parliament is for public consumption so ministers only want voters to hear the good things. The Straits Times is closely monitored by the govt owing to its "significant influence" (as perceived by the PAP) on public opinion. As such, there is a perception of limited editorial freedom and self-censorship by journalists and editors. This is a well-documented aspect of SG's media landscape. As such, the ST is churning out "fake news" since the censored version is strictly speaking, untrue.

A staggering 95% of jobs created in 2023 and 89% in 2022 went to foreigners. S'poreans need to be afraid; we need to be very afraid.

I know a former engineer who left S'pore with his wife who was a JC teacher many years ago. He drives Uber and she teaches in kindergarten in Melbourne. However, they live in a huge 2 storey house in the suburbs and own 2 cars. They stayed in a 4-room HDB flat in Bukit Batok and relied on public transport in S'pore before.

They left early before price shootup in 2020?

So what MOM is telling the DAFTS is that Drafties are suffering retrenchments, unemployment in S’pore and these daft numbers were up in Q3 .... but the ICA and MOM are continuing issuing permits to bring in FTs to fill the job market to expand the replacement of the dafties .... erection siah. :roflmao:

Retrenchments, unemployment in S’pore up in Q3 but job market continues to expand: MOM

Job market expands while unemployment up means all the job goes to Ft.
However they said is for both resident and non resident.
So it means there are jobs but either they didn't want to take up due to salary or they are not up skilled for the job.
No other possible reason for that or else it means Mom talk cock lying.
