After two Coviders mati, the paps took firm decisive action to hantam those rebels who played played with paps:

A total of 89 work pass holders have had their passes revoked as of Saturday (Mar 21) for breaching entry approval and stay-home notice requirements. The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said that the workers have been permanently banned from working in Singapore. MOM said it has also suspended the work pass privileges of the employers for periods ranging from one to three years, as they had failed to discharge their duties. Of the 89 work passes revoked, 73 work pass holders with travel history to COVID-19 affected countries entered Singapore without obtaining entry approval from MOM. The remaining 16 work pass holders were caught breaching the LOA or stay-home notice requirements.

What is the next step of decisive action?

Bar all FS holding passes and permits, PS included, from re-entering the country if they had been to countries where Covid infection is raging like wild fire. It is sheer stupidity to allow these FS to re-enter the country just because they hold the shitty passes and permits. Tell them to FO to their own homeland for Covid treatment is the right move in the right direction to save the country from massive infection.

How can the paps be so stupid and irresponsible? The safety of locals is at stake. Imported Covid is serious. These imported Covid cases are the scourge that might kill more people in the country.

The sg system slso like shift, some foreigners kana LOA ,u know what happened, they go back or are in Makaysia holiday.say our government stupid.hai....now worse after Malsysia border open, malaysian still go in n out ,virus still spread ,wat yhe point.

worse some work passes n PR bring their old folks to come in sg stay, if not wrong, this happen, old folks with virus come in to seek free treatment.

That’s why I say, time to just herd the incoming folks into a quarantine facility, no more Mr Nice Guy.

It is also time to wake up the gahmen and see the reliance we have on FTs like the Msians.

If the border lockdown extends for another 2 weeks then how? No Certis Cisco guards and SBS bus drivers?

More $50/night for these foreign workers on account of the taxpayers?

You can find sinkies to do these jobs?

If you factor in the additional $50/day as salary...sure why not?
And sinkies won't mind paying more to cover the payroll costs? In Auckland a trip to town and back by train can cost the best part of $10.

https://mrt.sg/fare

The same distance in Singapore is only $4 max.

Drop rental costs and payroll can go up. Landlords are taking a disproportionate share of GDP at the cost of workers salaries.

Is it better to pay 50 dollar per night from govt money, or 1000 per month from temasek money?

The fact that 300,000 Johorians working here in SG at this "acceptable" salary is based on their cost of living in JB.

Clearly the salary is not sustainable by SG standards and the continued reliance on Johorians to run SG's economy will once again blow up in the near future.

All Msia need to do is to extend the lockdown for another 2 weeks and see SBS and Certis Cisco management running around like headless chicken.

The cost of living in JB has been increasing over the years, no doubt due to Sinkies' influence and property development with money borrowed from China during Najib's reign.

finally, no more short-term visitors can arrive in or transit through sg. this kind of decision is like slow motion drama.

The gahmen can sing the Total Defence concept but right in front of their eyes now can they see it collapsing ?

Returning Singapore residents (i.e. Singapore citizens, permanent residents) and long-term pass holders (including work passes and permits, Student’s Pass, Dependant’s Pass and Long-Term Visit Pass) will be issued with a 14-day Stay Home Notice (SHN)[1] upon entry into Singapore.

Travellers with travel history within the last 14 days to Hubei province of Mainland China will be issued Quarantine Order (QO).

See section “What is Quarantine Order and Stay-Home Notice?” for more information about SHN.

Singapore's measures for inbound travellers in relation to COVID-19 are summarised in this Appendix.

[1] The SHN will not apply to Singapore residents and long-term pass holders
who use the land and sea crossings with Malaysia, and has a travel history within the last 14 days to only Malaysia.

Gahmen must explain why the land and sea crossing Msian foreigners are "special" to this ruling?

More privileged than Singaporeans flying in from KL ?

If the pay and conditions are decent,,,singkies will queue to do those jobs..there is nothing wrong in being a bus driver or security guard,,just the pay is basically poverty pay,,,and of course poverty pay for workers is just to enrich the bosses..

According to PAP, virus can spread by plane but not by land or water. Fucking stupid. 300,000 cross the causeway everyday. Now Indonesians are flying to Batam and then by ferry to Sinkieland.

If the PAP says that then it must be so. The PAP is always on the money. That's why Singapore is in such good shape.
