Had a wonderful evening celebrating the 120th anniversary of Yangzheng Primary School, one of Singapore’s oldest primary schools.
It was a joy to interact with both students and alumni across the generations. Some of the alumni have even returned to teach in their alma mater.
Happy birthday Yangzheng! May the dedication of your alumni continue to inspire your staff and students.

Our Tanjong Pagar residents,
The Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) report came out this afternoon.
There are some changes to our GRC. Here’s a quick summary:

Some estates in Queenstown will be carved out to form a new Queenstown SMC.

Team Tanjong Pagar welcomes the Depot, Dover, Pasir Panjang East and Telok Blangah estates, currently helmed by Rachel Ong.

Radin Mas SMC helmed by Melvin Yong also welcomes estates in Harbourfront and Sentosa.

These new boundaries will apply to the upcoming General Elections.
For now, our current divisions remain and we will all continue our Meet the People Sessions as usual until Parliament is dissolved.

Our PAP team will continue to work hard and deliver for you, no matter the changes.

Today is the last day of Term 1.
It is also World Sleep Day!
In commemoration of this special day, Ministry of Education, Singapore is running a 5-day Sleep Challenge to encourage families to spend time together, and catch up on some rest earlier today.
Sleeping well benefits everyone, and it is especially helpful for our students’ physical, mental and emotional well-being and their learning. Good sleep habits developed from young will also serve them well throughout their education journey and beyond.
Here're some simple but good sleep habits we can all incorporate.

Met two of our dedicated Tanjong Pagar Town Council workers, Arif and Sojol, who have been keeping our estates clean for nearly 15 years. They also introduced me to their adorable little ones. Such a joy to meet them!

We wrapped up the evening by breaking fast with Our Tanjong Pagar team. A big thank you to all of you for your hard work and dedication. Behind every clean and well-kept corner of My Buona Vista are unsung heroes like you.
