Usually, even if NS is factored in, a grad would be ready for the adult World of earnings or entrepreneurship by 26 yrs old.
As he is 36yrs old, WHAT had he done in between the years, to show steady proven track records of attendance, commitment, dedication & successes in his job, to either remain or progress to better pastures in another company, as a team player, to learn & grow further in his career?
Often, for a male by his 30s, if he had not found or secure a job or an entrepreneurship, he would be left on the wayside, & dependent on charity & our evolving govt research centers to UPSKILL himself, thru tax payers funding, for another chance to be gainfully employed, not just to retirement age, but beyond to earn an honest sustainable life...
While most would BLANKET blame employers for being tyrants, cynical or even downright self serving, may one realizes - it's their savings that created a company & jobs, & biz entities ARE NOT charity orgs.
They TOO have responsibilities & cannot afford expensive jiakliaobees, when there are many other grads EACH YEAR that would do with lower starting pay & are hungry & available, or else their companies will collapse in only a matter of time, no matter how empathetic one can be.
Biz is RESULT ORIENTATED, for BOTH employers & employees...
