Netizen: My Friend Who Is 36 Years Old Has A Business Degree But Cannot Find White Collar Job

Be a PAP grassroot and become a hypocrite by supporting the very policies that got him in predicament.
He will have a leg up by volunteering.

He is a poly diploma holder, then went to take 1 year PRIVATE degree. I suggest he throw away that useless degree and rely on his poly diploma which has higher chance of landing a job.
Yes he should keep the useless degree first and use the diploma to get a job.
If he prove himself to be useful in a company, especially mnc, he then should take out his useless degree to climb the corporate ladder. At this point of time the useless degree will become useful.

Private schools offering overseas degree courses from unmarketable universities are designed to offer foreign students an excuse to stay in Singapore. They are not meant for locally bred Singapore citizens, who should stick to SMU (ranked 585), SUTD (ranked 440), SUSS (ranked 3,532) if they cannot get into NUS and NTU.

In the worst case scenario, go to the local polytechnics. I especially recommend NP. Although NP has yet to produce a Nobel Prize winner, it has nurtured a 赌神.

Can use Father Mother money as starter pack to huat big big
There are a lot of course out there.
A lot of services he can provide.

He can provide expertise which needed licensing.

Now a days, job requirements is stated such as “Bachelor Degree” and relevant “Working Experience” in the related fields are a MUST…. With a preference as having a “Master Degree”.

Now a day, having a bachelor degree don’t means anything… sad fact of life in Singapore
Why would companies want master degrees holders ? Does it not add to costs?

When you have a skill set which is very powerful and sought after by the employer.

Meanwhile my friend retired in Australia at 40 plus, you can't save retards

1 year private degree? That’s fucking useless

best are those sinkies who use their poly diplomas to get technician level jobs with aapl, nvda and smci over 6.9 years ago. many of them use company sponsored “continuing education” and in-training programs to obtain their engineering degrees while working, and they get promoted to engineers and managers. better still, all have employee stock options once they reach engineer level. stock options alone over 6.9 years ago can make these sinkies multimillionaires (plus more with stock splits).

Having a degree in top 10 ranking nus does not have return of investment as those top 10 in USA or UK.
