Then our children and grandchildren go where?
Stop having them. My daughter dearest is a great example. Aimless fornication is the way of life.
Then our children and grandchildren go where?
Nothing wrong living in kampung land. Malays are not the type to live in urban areas.its not in their blood it was forced into them by lky and other chinese immigrants.no chinese, malaysia would forever remain in kampong land.......chinese helped create jobs and helped the malays step out of the jungle.
i mean u see philipines?thats what malaysia would be like in 2000......
although i hope singapore wouldnt suffer the same fate......50% foreigners in our country,is it even possible to get rid of them?

I know what you are saying. But this is how malays live in the city. Its just not in them.i doubt u really want it......if malaysia is isolated cut off from the rest of the world sure......but once u see what the outside world is like, would u really want to stay in a kampong forever?i highly doubt it,maybe 10 percent,15 percent would but the vast majority would want to leave or change.......its like opening the pandora's box.
to put it in simpler terms, lets say u grew up in a kampong and have never seen a city before,u dont even have tv or internet,u live happily not knowing what ur missing cause u dunno what ur missing, but one day someone takes u to the city and shows u the city, would u go back to the kampong still content and happy knowing what u have seen?no from now on u would never be content or satisfied.

i lived and grew up in kampong and shifted to HDB flat in my teen honestly i prefer 1000000000000X livng in kampong,
kampong people are much more friendly and there strong kampong spirit and the best part is every races treat eachother like family in kampong
now i went back to kampong(Australia) and experience what i experienced when i was in sg kampong everyday is a blessing for me now
cheers!
After a few sessions of this, exactly which locals are you referring to?
u are craving the community and wide open spaces and nature and the low density non crowded suburban way of living.......trust me the australian "kampong" is not the same as the real kampong. iv seen what the real kampong (in pontian) looks like and nobody wants to go back there......i love australia kampong too and i would love to live there too......like the canadian kampong or swissland kampong.
yes i know the ills of city life and modern society, increasing isolation, loneliness, alienation, despite living in a city with millions of people we are essentially alone, rising rates of depression, anxiety, personality disorders, dysfunctionality lives fueled by mass consumption, addictions and materialism to soothe the voids and pain within.....maybe man are born live in kampongs and tribes.......like they did for thousands of years, for it is ur tribe and ur small knit of 100 to 150 humans that give u the meaning and purpose we need as social primates.a sense that we belong somewhere.
U lucky ur kampong no have nutty lady like gin else u wish u were back here!i been living in Australia kampong for 10 years and it really the same feeling like the olden sg kampong no joke.
here all my neighbors are very friendly no matter what races they are and we here have very strong kampong spirit too we help eachother just like sg kampong and whenever we meet eachother we hug! i guess this is the culture here.
and if i walk my dog to other subburbs people will raise their hand and say hi to me.and even youngsters will greet me good day!
the only different here is the seasons it can be very cold and can be very hot in the summer that is other then that the same life style i had in sg kampong
