Good move! I already made a similar suggestion to Leongsam some years ago. You can have your "scroobal's intelligentsia" and the rest of us have "froggy's cafe" while the Courtyard is frozen for the coming mini-ice age. It's causing depression for Leongsam anyway. We will see none of those disgusting duck liver posts by Debonerman and jw5 with the super irritating & vomit-inducing photo. The world is certainly getting better especially with the coming Korean reunification.

I feel that one of the reasons for this forum's demise was the several GE results which showed that despite all the chatter here and revelations and what not, the majority of sinkies are PAP lovers.

This has dealt too many blows to the ones who are serious folk. They gave up. What you are left with is attention seeking fellows with huge egos. My way or the highway. Some are plain mentally ill.

If you are anti-PAP and are still living in Singapore, too bad for you. You are surrounded by PAP lovers hellbent on keeping the PAP in power.

Web 1.2 heralded the arrival of vbulletin which dominated from 2001 till 2009.

We are now at Web 2.5 or possibly 3.x

It was never about housekeeping. If I didn't do housekeeping this place would be littered with spam, porn links and what have you.

It's obvious this forum is dying but I don't agree it is inevitable due to new media. Anonymity is one of the most valuable commodities today and this is one of the last places to still have it
