My kids love Legoland. Should I buy this Vacation Home in Nusa Duta?

A condom for you for additional layer ... This should adequately protect you
 Alright! Now I am an impenetrable fortress. @ginfreely can put horse over, I am ready! :roflmao::biggrin:

So that on weekends and school holidays, we can go there for a family bonding in Johore and also visit their favourite Legoland? Surely beats going to expensive places for holidays. Also, I think groceries are cheaper in Johore too.

You guys think is this worth it? It's only a million ringgit to spend for intangible family bonding, right? And we can have bbqs in our own garden, the kids play with firecrackers and perhaps we can get to know more neighbours who are from Singapore.

Any thoughts and views most welcomed...

Nusa Duta
PROPERTY INSIGHT

Taman Nusa Duta, Nusajaya is a mixed housing neighbourhood located in Skudai, Johor. Neighbouring residential areas include Taman Nusa Bestari, Bestari Heights, Taman Perling, Bandar Uda Utama and Bukit Indah. There are three types of houses available in Nusa Duta, which are double storey terrace, double storey cluster and double storey semi-detached houses.

A double storey terrace has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a parking space for 2. The standard land area is 20’ x 65’ with a built up area of 1,926 sf. A double storey cluster has 4+1 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a parking space for 2, with a land area of 32’x70’ and a built-up area is 2,403 sf. Meanwhile, a double-storey semi-D has 4+1 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a car park for 2, with a land area of 40’x80’ and built up area of 2,954 sf.

Nusa Duta is well-surrounded by matured residential, commercial and entertainment hubs close to Johor Bahru’s premier Business Districts. For instance, Nusa Duta is served by many banks such as HSBC, AM Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Alliance Bank. On top of that, deciding on where to go grocery shopping alone can be a challenge itself as all four bigwigs of shopping malls in the vicinity include Jusco, Sutera Mall, Tesco and Giant are within a short driving distance, which makes shopping and leisure activities relatively convenient.

Adding to the draw of the area are established educational and healthcare facilities namely Newcastle Medical University, Marlborough College and Asia Columbia Hospital. The development is currently accessible from Jalan Sutera Danga, Jalan Persisiran Perling 2 and Second Link Highway from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore via exit 308C. Upon completion of the Coastal Highway, the highway would tremendously improve traffic flow thus reduce travel time from 45 minutes to less than 10 minutes for vehicles traveling from Johor Bahru’s CBD to Nusajaya.

By the way, how do it be get to Nusa Duta if one doesn't drive. Is there a direct bus?

Thank you for all your views, comments, opinion. I reckon none of you who have spoken in this thread actually lives there. Would prefer someone who is currently staying in Nusa Duta to comment. For example, is there a wet market where my wife can do her groceries? What about relaxation spas for body and foot massages. Are the prices reasonable? Is there a cinema nearby where I can bring my kids to watch movies? Is the tap water drinkable or must I install a filtration system? Are there lots of mosquitoes and other unwelcome pests?
