Yes, your post is about your friend's choice to give birth in Aus rather than SG. But along the way, if you were to trace your old posts, you condemn SG Govt without getting your facts right. Although I am a WP supporter and i disagree with some of our Govt's policies, i will not go round attacking the Govt without facts.

if your have a view on a certain subject, you have to apply it across the board fairly without favourism. both countries legalise casino and yet you only condemn pap.

long time ago, carrying a SG passport and being known as a Singaporean was an honour.
now being a singaporean and growing up in SG are seen as liabilities. And it will get worse.
while Taiwan is fast catching up, being known as a polite and gracious society nowadays, and their streets are much cleaner than Singapore, SG is fumbling along and seemingly lost. Not only is the pap govt fumbling it is losing true Singaporean ground support. How long more can the PA, grassroots, civil servants prop up the pap?
Watch taiwan rising, watch HK growing in stature, watch S Korea soaring economically.
where can we expect Singapore to head under the pap? Unlike Taiwan, S Korea and HK which are increasing their productivities and improving their technologies, SG is deteriorating and relying on low productivity, cheap labour model of economy. SG has ditched Knowledge Management, failed in Research Investment, lost in Biotechnology arena. The pap is not able to truly create wealth but is furiously pursuing wealth transfer to fund its high and wasteful expenditure. The Goh Keng Swee days of thriftiness, financial prudence are gone under LHL's weak leadership. Nowadays we see unbridled excesses and wastful use of public funds by the pap. Thankfully we have the social media and concerned Singaporeans to highlight some truths.
No wonder Jocelyn has the foresight to want to raise her baby in Aus. For the sake of singaporeans who dont have her luxury, she will come back to stay in SG, show her solidarity with them and continue to vote against the pap
