Kampong Glam stretch of Beach Road and North Bridge Road has been bar and KTV cultural centre for decades, even centuries. It started with Raffles Hotel as the drinking centre for the colonists and richbies, and stretched down all the way to Crawford and Lavender with cheaper joints for the not-so-richbies. The bar and KTV culture should be preserved as heritage too.
