1) foreigners in Singapore will go to stay in JB and come to Singapore daily by RTS. They spouses or children may stay in JB.

2) Singaporeans especially those in their 50s to 70s and grab drivers may stay in JB and commute to work in Singapore by taking RTS.

3) Singaporeans will go to JB to buy medication and daily necessities in JB.

There will indeed be a huge jam.
Smrt was suppose to go all The way to JB.
But Najib got kicked out.
And Dr m cancelled and Re-engineered for mrt to end at woodlands and a smaller capacity lrt for woodland to JB in RTS on grounds of cutting costs.
Its capacity only 10k pax per hour. Not enough during peak hours I would think.

In Malaysia, u can stay in rental condo and buy a brand new Myvi or secondhand one which is up to you.
