Manchester United 2013/2014

The Champ is going to win all these fixtures. Hoot Ah! :D

Man U is severely depleted going into the packed holiday season. Lack of striker, and i don't know how long Moyes can persuade Rooney to play in midfield...since he kow peh kow bu last season when Fergie stick him there....all becos he wants a fat contract...LOL

transfer window opening...and the clown n comic show by Woodward & Moyes bound to start again.

Fellaini is proving to be a United flop. Out until at least February and is only at Man Utd because of his relationship with Moyes at Everton.

Total waste of £27m.

Why you see Sunderland and West Ham no up? Upsets happen often in cup games.

Its a home and away tie. Class will eventually decide these games. Pellegrini and Moyes will play their strongest team at some point. For the latter, it's his only realistic chance of winning silverware this season. With the 'depth' of their squad and the packed schedule, West Ham and Sunderland will be more concerned about staying in the premier league. Poor Wigan.

Can't disagree on that afro mop. His absence not noticed, neither missed last few games. Wrist injury? If goalie, that's understandable :(

IMHO, Roon makes a better midfielder than striker. He's the perfect replacement for Scholes. None of the other midfielders has the range and passing ability of Roon. It's for Moyes to convince him of that role.

Jones and Smalling are coming around and that is a BIG positive for the club. As for Young, Moyes should play him on the right for a few games with Adnan on the left. Valencia is wasteful. it's not power but accuracy that matters when you play on the flanks. He's a hardworking bloke though unlike Nani and Kagawa. I'm also glad that Fletcher is finally back and hopefully he'll have a good run of games.

As for Fellaini and I've asked this before-what can that afro dude do that the rest of the players cannot. He may be tall but he's too farking slow and clumsy. Moyes is two for two. Dun forget the Uruguayan defender he bought-Varela and he's no where to be seen.

so another ex-Man U player become manager so kelong let Man U win lah...............just like Robson, Bruce, Keane and others......

No 'kelong' there. They were leaders in their era with medals to show. Like all the other top teams in Europe, Bayern, Juve, Milan, Barca and Real, the leaders will move on to coaching and management once their playing days are over. With the current crop of players, methinks Carrick, Vidic and Evra will go into football management.

Another Everton alumni??

EVERTON RIBEIRO will spurn the advances of Real Madrid to fulfil his dream of joining Manchester United.

Ribeiro, 24, enjoyed a successful 2013 campaign catching the eye with a string of impressive performances which helped current club Cruzeiro capture the Brasileiro Serie A title.

David Moyes is eager to secure a £7m deal for the Brazilian playmaker in the upcoming transfer window and has been boosted in his pursuit after the Cruzeiro star revealed he would prefer to join the Premier League champions over Madrid.

“Yes, I would prefer that [to join Manchester United],” he said.

“The structure they have in place is one of the best in the world. I have been there already and went to a lecture by [Sir] Alex Ferguson when I was younger.

“I feel I am ready to play in any part of the world. If you play for Cruzeiro, you can play in any place. I would fit in any part of the midfield. I would do well as a playmaker to support the attack.”

United have begun talks with the Brazilian FA and are looking for the best solution in attempting to bring Ribeiro to the club.

Ribeiro is only 60 per cent owned by Cruzeiro, with the other 40 per cent owned by a third party - something which would break Premier League rules.

The goals will come from somewhere. The 9 goals we scored in the last 4 games came from 6 different players. Yes, Rooney's best position is Midfield.

I remembered Carrick took quite a while before he settles in.

Hello, how to manhandle opponents with a broken wrist? Want to do a monkey steal peach also difficult. :p

A toast to ALL Man U fans and critics-have a Blessed X'mas and a HAPPY New Year!!!:D

I remembered Carrick took quite a while before he settles in.

Mike took an eternity to settle in and he turned out to be a better defensive midfielder than an attacking one. He had two very good seasons since he joined us. He was Man U's top player last season without a doubt.
