Liverpool Supporters fall in here!!! Season 2008/09

Yes, enjoy it while it lasts, by end of April should be 4th again, LOL.

Should be at least 3rd, Arsenal lacks depth
Real challenger, Man U and Chelsea
but now Chelsea no $$ given to buy new players
Man U always get better towards end of season.

Harry Redknapp has offered to take back Robbie Keane for 8 million pounds :(

12 million quids down the drain in less six months and you guys here can seriously believe that fat spanish waiter with the goatee will ever deliver the league title. Keep on dreaming man.:D

well if he is not suitable to the team, then why not ?
sell him before the price drops further and use it to buy another player.

hope tonight,we can win and top the group, this will ensure that we will avoid some of those big clubs in the next stage.

go Liverpool go,go go go

Reds had an excellent 2nd half last night against PSV, winning 1-3 (Babel, Riera, Ngog), and Keane finally showed his talent even though he did not score. Other players with improved performances were Lucas, Babel and Ngog. Rafa rested quite afew of his regular XI including Gerrard, Kuyt and Alonso, and this time the other Reds' team players stepped up to the plate and excelled, giving due notice to the other top teams in both CL and EPL that Liverpool now appears to have strength in depth that perhaps it lacked in previous seasons.

Rafa played Reira and Babel on both flanks for the first time this season and boy did they perfrom. Looks like an interesting creative option for Rafa to open up tight defences in future.

Very good night, Reds end up top of their CL league and are also top of the EPL. Bring on Real, Bayern or Villarael in the next round, Reds need not fear any team now going by last night's 2nd half performance. All it needs now is consistency and we should all be smiling come next May:)

As for Harry, I think he knows what he can now do with his 8 million pounds 'offer' for Keane:oIo:

did not catch it,will be looking forward for the replay.
we should concentrate more on the EPL as this period, there will be quite a few matches and it is within a short period.
if we can still be top of the table after this month, then maybe just maybe we can smell a bit of the EPL.

Cheong Cheong Cheong ! Liverpool !

....if we can still be top of the table after this month, then maybe just maybe we can smell a bit of the EPL.....

The Christmas / New Year weekend fixtures are the crucial games...... history has shown that whichever team on top after that weekend has gone on to win the league for that season :D

Read today's papers where it was reported that Rafa is trying to talk down Reds chances of winning the EPL. Is he trying to play mind games to take off the pressure from the team?

Saying that I don't really like it when he keeps moaning about not having enough funds unlike Man U and Chelsea, I mean if you look at the amount of $$$ he has been given since he took over it runs to 100s of millions of pounds. Problem with Rafa is that he generally lacks the ability to buy value players.

Anyways all the best to the lads tonight against Hull, would be nice to see Keane score and put in a good performance to boost his confidence. Hope to see Reds still top come tomorrow adding to their goal tally and continuing to put pressure on the likes of Chelsea and Man U.

Another home game another draw, but at least this time not a goal less draw and Reds showed resilience in coming back from a shock 2 goal deficit, courtesy of who else but Stevie G. I must give credit to Phil Brown and his Hull team, they came to Anfield to play and not to defend and boy did they give the Reds a game, especially in the first 20 mins on the right flank with Mendy who ran rings around Dossena.

Again what was apparent is that the Reds sorely missed Torres and over relied on Gerrard, who is very good but he is not superman. Also I can't understand Rafa's tactics last night, clearly by the 60min mark the Reds needed a proper change in attack and probably should have made a positive double substitution by bringing on both Babel and Keane at the sametime. Unfortunately this he did not do, waited until 70mins plus to bring on Babel and later instead of giving Keane the opportunity to display his attack skills he brought on the young an inexpereinced Al Zahar. And Rafa's last sub for the night was the more defensive Lucas.

Another 2 lost points, all in I would say Liverpool have 'lost' 8 precious points at home thus far against average sides whom they really should have beaten if they are to stand a good chance of finally winning the EPL this season.

I am disappointed but I still think there is hope come May, however Rafa really needs to get his tactics right very quickly and realise that Reds cannot only rely on Torres and Gerrard to get the goals, he needs to have more faith in Keane and Babel whom I think if given the right confidence boost can shine.

another 2 pts dropped from home games.
this season, quite disappointed with their home's performance.
lucky MU and Arsenal also drew their matches, now if tonight Chelsea also draw, then it will be alright for us.

just cannot understand Benitez, bought Keane and do not use him even though he has not been scoring regularly. but at least he is an out and out striker, can also make chances for others. what a waste of resource and money as he do not come cheap.

You must be joking if you consider drawing against 4 teams AT HOME that are of mid-table or even relegation calibre as all right. God forbid if Loserfools will to win the league title this season, then they must be most unworthy winner in the history of the premier league.

Hard to say. This i the team that beat mighty Chealsea and lost to relegation bound Spurs in the very same week.

well Chelsea also drew against West Ham.
so it is not only we that are dropping pts.
our rivals also dropped.
this weekend against another BIG 4 - Arsenal at Emirates.
can we step-up the tempo ?
yes,we can !

bro Piew,we shall see at end of the season.

Anyone who has a positive view of their team drawing another game at home must have a small team mentallity. Ask that Puerto Rican playboy Porfirio Rubirosa whether Loserfools is small or big club.
