There are a lot of question surrounding Laura Ong.
She is 32 and already a director to start with. Does she really have the necessary experience and skill set to be placed into this position?
Questions also arises from the China bonding trip, with many photos showing her with friendship bonding with Teo Ser Luk. I would really qustion if there are others than Michael Palmer in her basket.
Throughout the whole event, what I see is an immature woman romanticise about relationship with men of "authority". The relationship to her is not adultry but more of a forbidened love which makes it more exciting than usual. the published text messaging between her and Michael Palmer further shows the playful part of her seeking excitement of risk of being found out.
Certainly the consequence of the matter has never crosses her mind, which is demonstrated with the photos of her in flirting mode with Teo Ser Luk.
If there is a certain factor contribution to her rise to a "prominant" post, it is not her capability or experience, but her people skill with the "powerful".
good questions and good insights.
certainly many questions are asked abt Laura's rise to her position...was it through merit or was it through connections and sex?
but the pap cant deny that these are legitimate questions and questions it cant wish away. the pap must recognies that it owes singaporeans a clear account of what its MP and selected Speaker of Parliament did and whether there was any conflict of duty.
I hope that if the pap continues to remain silent on MP's issues, WP's MPs and NCMP Lina Chiam and NMPs will raise questions to compel the pap to reveal more.
Two relevant questions:
1. Was CPIB called in to investigate whether there was any corruption, abuse of authority in MP/Laura's case?
2. Was there any wrong doings/abuse of authority by MP ?
