Note sure how the PA works. However is it normal for Laura to be traveling very often? The following are pics of another "bonding" trip, this time to reportedly Zhuhai with Micheal Palmer. Micheal Palmer appears a bit drunk in the picture.

Do such trips and bonding look normal to you when PAP is a political party and PA is a grass root organisation which is touted to be non partisan and is working for all Singaporeans?

Do you see PA bonding with SDP or WP?

Make no mistake about it, These two you mentioned have got strong passion and dedication to the opposition cause. But that alone is not enough to be an electable candidate. Firstly when one speaks before the 'market' in English, one's command of English must at least be comfortable to the ears of English-educated listeners. If one's command of English is not up to it (as judged by the market), one should never never speak in English in public. That will mean sure doom right from the start. To me, this is the main obstacle preventing them be to be electable, like it or not. The market market may be 'shallow', but that's the stark reality.

i agree with you. some have to discard their self interest to help SG. Among these people are:

Desmond Lim
GMS

They shd just fade away from the limelight and work quietly to support the more credible and other higher profile parties and candidates such as WP, SDP, NSP, TJS, etc

If GMS had restricted himself mainly to speaking in Mandarin and Mandarin alone, I have no shadow of a doubt that he stands a good chance. This is because most of today's English-educated voters understand and appreciate more Chinese than they do English (granted that they are undeniably proficient in Singlish). If he had done that, he could have been speaking in Parliament today. Seriously.
