instead of an outright invasion with shock and awe, putin has a formula for future land grabs. russia-sympathizing insurgents and rebels seek separation from ukraine, fight a mini civil war for "independence", then invite russia to intervene and conduct a "peace-keeping" operation. russia moves in at the "invitation" with 6.9 tank, armored and mechanized divisions, establishes new no-man's lands and borders to "keep" the peace, and declares new territories and states of independence (when in fact they practically revert to russian territory). will prc follow the same formula with regards to taiwan?

I won't be surprised if PRc takes back Taiwan after they witness Russia's success with invading Ukraine.

Ukraine forces should have planted bombs in the old Chernobyl plant as there are still vast amount of nuclear wastes there. Thereafter, before the Russians came to take over the site yesterday. Ukraine can then blast off the Chernobyl plant and create a vast nuclear radiation dust. With the forthcoming South-West winds due from April, the Russians will then be the most affected.

Putin justify his invasion of Ukraine by claiming that NATO and allied forces are putting arms directed at Russia is lame because aren't Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania even more aggressive in this aspect? He should have foreseen this from the start. Sleepy Joe had already said that he won't send any forces to Ukraine. Germany has been quite silent all these while. Boris Johnson is only with much hot air talks about helping Ukraine. At best, all these people would only say: "Our prayers are with your people". WTF?

If I were Zelenskyy, I would have agreed to surrender to Russia and let it install a new regime. In this way, there will be much less bloodshed incurred to his own people and soldiers. There is no way for Ukraine alone to win a fight with the Russians with their more modern and sophisticated weaponry.
