Yep. Something epic must have happened, LOL.

It will be unimaginable for CC's Lee & Lee law firm to lose, else will tarnish the reputation of the Lee dynasty.

On the other hand, it will even be more Inconceivable for IK/RN couple to lose for they will cry foul to appeal or kee siao as this means they might become bankrupt, with no more free meals, LOL.

Likely the trial will continue to drag for some time.

This post by the insignificant nobody me on this thread is NOT related to the threadstarter's aim, but only just to help more & public interest of this case to understand Court procedures & quell speculations :-

1. A Court Hearing is a preamble to a Court contest between plaintiffs & defendants. To simplify it, it is just a 'get to know one another - who is who, who is represented by who, & their points of legal contest, often held in the Judge's chamber ( office, not the main Court ).

2. The Judge will then decide if the points made by the representative legal officers have merit for a contest, or deem such points as frivolous & if such, would be thrown out, to save all the time & costs.

3. Should the legal representatives points be worthy of a contest for judgement, then the Judge will set a FAIR date for the contest in an official Court, more so should either the plaintiffs or defendants had aroused public sentiment either against or for either of them, as time would heal & emotions cool down, inorder to get a fair judgement.

4. Once the decision is made & a date set, then each legal representative would advice their clients to STOP making public comments, as ANY comment, regardless if on mainstream media or especially social media, MAY be held against them in a Court battle, which would be used by both sides, even if an anonymous nick is used, as it can be easily traced - our once forumner Black Monday comes to mind, without even boss Sam revealing any of his info to anyone.....

5. Also, bear in mind, in a democracy, the Judiciary is the third arm to enhance democracy. While they will be appointed, which is based upon their performance & results over decades, they DO NOT make laws, but only INTERPRETE laws made be freely ELECTED legislators thru the vote by citizens, which even a Senior Counsel, comparable to the famous England's Queen Counsels, whom have experience & are an ENCYLOPEDIA upon common laws, do possessed...

6. Thus, be prepared for mainstream or social news 'blackout' of this case which may be for months.....in fairness of all, for a Nation that we citizens are still building - in progress, to leave none behind as much as we mortals can...
