Iris Koh wants to sue Calvin Cheng

This Raymond (Iris' husband) is also another clown and idiot. The rules provides that the originating claim must be served on the defendant personally for the service to be valid and effective. But the rules doesn't entitle him to enter a private property to serve the documents on the defendant. Even if the police are called, they also can't do anything the condo management has every right to deny him entry into the premises.

If she uses the phrase "bunch of clowns" freely like she does now, then she will not be able to prove that the phrase "bunch of clowns" is defamatory. Calvin made that alleged defamatory remark once, but Iris is republishing the alleged defamatory remark freely.

Even if she can prove that "bunch of clowns" is defamatory, she will have to bear a good percentage of "contributory negligence" because she is republishing the alleged defamatory remark.

it is up to the judge to decide.

The agenda of Iris is pretty obvious by now. They are going after remarks that impute they are causing death to others by their anti-vaxxed agenda.

By that, Calvin will have to prove the truth of his assertions and show evidence of the number of people who were dead due to being unvaxxed, and the more difficult part, the connection that the dead chose not to be vaxxed because they were influenced by Iris after vaccine had become freely available.

This will give Iris the official platform to further her anti-vaxxed agenda by showing the unvaxxed who survived and to dispel the myth that you will die if you are not vaxxed.

Calvin has a more difficult task in terms of standard of proof - his remarks appear absolute and leave very little leeway for him to wriggle his way out.

It would appear that the remark "a bunch of clowns" is just an appetizer to lure Calvin into complacency.
