If you think the opposition is not electable, don't vote them

Forgive me not being clear. I sure made no bet with you about any Philipines President thing.

I wasn't referring to you lah. You are not a senior PAP elder by any stretch of the imagination. I was referring to our bet on the casino levy.

I don't bet unless I know I will win. The last time I made a bet like the one I made with you was with a very senior PAP elder over the Philippine Presidential elections. He ended up writing a very flattering essay about me.

Small issue lah. If you don't want to back out of the bet, then we can put the casino levy bet back on. I am not Singapore Pools lah. You want to cancel, I let you cancel. You want to re-instate, I let you re-instate. No peanlty charges at all.

Please refer to the original terms of the bet below. Want to back out again is it?

How about a bet then?

If the PAP hold firm and made no changes to the current levy system for the next 5 years, you win.

If the PAP changes the levy system within the next 5 years, I win.

Very funny! You were saying with certainty that they will increase the $100 or the $2,000 and I am saying they won't. You then phrase a bet where I can only win if it stands still?

TKL was for over 30 years a cadre member of the PAP. He had been involved in Politics for very long time and had been a shortlisted candidate for Marine Parade GRC. He was not picked. He was then "retired" and the chap from Prudential took over. He no longer draws an income from a GLC.

Suddenly we have man who claims to fight for the common man, highlighting financial abuse of customers etc. While he was in NTUC income, his firm was allowed access to NS men, SAF and many other GLCs to flog their insurance. He also had a captive market in NTUC and many other GLCs.. All he had to do is run it.

Its like career criminal who has decided to run an orphanage out of the goodness of his heart.

Note he has never revealed anything about the PAP or its inner workings. The presidential office is a useless institution and he wants to run it. For what?

Anyone who runs against the PAPies is our friend. Do you expect Jesus, Budha or Mohamed to come and rescue Singapore from the tyrannical PAP fascists?

The PAP has had its arms and legs all over the economy for nearly 50 years. Almost anyone who has done well here and who has a fight in them for politics may very well be part of PAPism in the past. It is part of the rust that creeps in after 40+ years.

Let's not begrudge the man. Until the tide has turned, let's see what his worth is.

There are many worse beings within the PAP today. Running the show and ensuring that true blue Singaporeans are made to stand aside as blue collar foreign workers are let in by the hundreds upon hundreds of thousands.

Let's fight the battles where we can win and let know who our enemy is at hand.

I'm not saying that the pappies will try to be good if they lose a few seats or that they will suddenly realise their mistakes and be kind and benevolent.
That's not what will happen.
What will happen is that after they lose a few seats and a few of their comrades, they will be afraid of losing their individual positions and start to worry if they will lose more votes if they don't start listening to the people. The problem is that too many of them have had too much power for too long. If some of them lose that power, the rest will start to rethink their individual strategies and actions, not collectively.

Don't go around calling people pathetic just because you hate pap and cannot stand it when anyone says something that appears to you to be in their favour. In fact, I'm not even doing that. If you think that the pap are going to lose power and the opposition parties will form the government in the next elections, you are an optimist with no hope.

And you are a pathetic loser with little sense of direction. You run in circles complaining tat you are running in circles. That is why I call you pathetic.

Running the show and ensuring that true blue Singaporeans are made to stand aside as blue collar foreign workers are let in by the hundreds upon hundreds of thousands.

True blue Singaporeans who grew up in the 80s have no excuse to be blue collared workers. Education was practically thrust in their faces and shoved down their throats. Scholarships and bursaries awaited anybody who could just make it to University which were prepared to accept mere CCC44 grades so money was no excuse at all.

TKL tried to take a stand against the problem of escalating fraudulent motor claims. The problem remains unresolved and insurance premiums have continued to sky rocket after he was removed. It is currently not on the political radar. TKL will however be thrilled if the PAP brings it up now and start a national debate on it.

TKL is a good candidate for Holland-Bukit Timah. The incidence of people in that GRC who lost money on structured products is higher than the rest of Singapore. Also the regular flooding, the PAP’s response and the impact this has had on property prices has eroded PAP support.

I however hope that TKL takes a rain check and leaves Minster Lim alone. This is because Minister Balakrishnan is in that GRC. The Opposition needs Minister Balakrishnan to survive the election and continue on a Minister for MCYS. As long as he is there, Singaporeans will be reminded of the much hated YOG. The Opposition will continue to be able to talk about the $387 million (esp when the PAP is raising the GST to 10%) and all of the other unhappy YOG screw ups.

From the YOG, we also see that Minister Balakrishnan has a proven talent for mismanaging things and being less than honest to cover them up. He is therefore the person the Opposition would want in charge of the sensitive casino issue. Under him, the chances of miscalculation and screw up would be highest. The casino issue can then blossom to become one of the major issues in the 2017 elections. Currently, there are only two PAP Ministers who have proven themselves capable to handling the casino “political hot potato”. These are Minister Khaw and Minister Tharman. It will be interesting to see if post elections, one of these Ministers would be the "sucker" that is rotated to head MCYS so that Minister Balakrishnan can be moved to a “safer” Ministry.

As long as the PAPies run the government, you can expect the poor elderly to continue to live a life of subsistence living. Hungry at times and just enough to feel alive.

And yet you want this despotic minister to continue to be in charge of MCYS??? Where is your conscience?

These PAP fascists should be voted out without any doubt. Fascists should not be allowed to govern Singapore any longer.

And yet you want this despotic minister to continue to be in charge of MCYS??? Where is your conscience?

Think win-win.

If they get booted out this election, we can have a medium celebration.

If they hang on till 2017 and PAP loses the 2/3 majority because of them, then we can have a really big celebration.

No worries. We will take it you backed out. AGAIN.

Quite childish aren't you? I'm sure that if we take the paper trail of this thread before an impartial arbitrator, it will be found that you're trying to be funny.

Don't talk so much and yaya here. You are likely a minion for a fascist political party that has been in power for too long. Even if you feel that you are doing well, your children and their children will suffer similar fates as majority of Singaporeans are today.

You are a despicable selfish twit and time will show you your weakness. People like you cannot survive in a true democracy and need shortcuts, guanxi and free things in order to survive. You are society's true losers and leeches.

You sound really angry. Read my lips - the majority of Singaporeans don't agree with you - at least 66.6% of them. The best way to piss a Singaporean off is to make them suffer monetarily and when their pockets are hit, they will fire off in the ballot box. But until then, they don't give a shit about your rhetoric. Dunno what freedom lah, liberty lah, yeh sou lah, to for lah, just as long as you don't touch their individual pocket :D

In 2017, true blue Singaporeans will form possibly 50% of voters in Singapore if the PAPies win the elections with the other 50% being new citizens and PRs.

The PAPies will continue to import as many foreign workers as they can to dilute the votes of Singaporeans.

If they get booted out this coming election, we can gain our country back!

If they win the coming election, we can say goodbye to the Singapore that we knew, grew up within and wanted for ourselves and our children.
